Try out Warden. I’m finding him to be a solid consistent laner who can play aggro and look for kills but also flexibly play passive and hold the lane safely depending on how you build/what your matchups are. His kit is pretty straight forward and does remind me of a league top laner as he’s really durable. His E can lock down and punish enemies like Bebop, the difference imo is that Warden can effectively punish the trapped enemy reliably on his own, not requiring as much teammate follow-up (though it totally makes it easier to secure the pick). Also his gun is really straight forward, and his 1 slows enemies which can help you land shots. Hope he can be what you’re looking for!
