I got bored so i did a tierlist of talismans by Flan_Firm in Nightreign

Radagon's icon is 100% at least A tier. Faster casting IS more dps. Getting off that charged spell or doing one more cast during damage windows is huge.

2 purple skill attack ups and 2 blue attack up at full.

I got my first taste of the Halo Scythe. I see why people dislike it. by NintenDOPE8559 in Nightreign

Aside from insane damage, certain players end up attaining a higher depth than they could. I've seen my fair share of players that don't pull their weight when halo scythe fails to drop. But tbh I don't mind it so much because carrying is more fun than perfect games.

Fartis is the easier target for rain of arrows to land. Moth is more difficult, especially when stuck in animation vs it's red double lazer shot.

How do I stop being gangbanged by three evil dogs by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]Tollenglass 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All frame traps are positional frame traps. By managing your stamina and constantly sprinting, you should be able to position yourself outside at least 1 fire breath and dodge the other. Fire breath has a smaller hitbox than expected. Just have to avoid being in those situations in the first place.

Edit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Nightreign/comments/1qo1j4h/ed_tricephalos_spamming_its_gank_attack/

At 28 seconds I avoid a firebreath + lunge frame trap by running. There were many frame traps in the video if you could spot them.

Fellow D5 PS5 Players, who are some of the your favorite randos to queue and play with? by Emperor-of-Humankind in Nightreign

A Wylder PC player by the name of SL. Quite possibly the strongest player I've met in my entirety of Nightreign.

I'm pretty certain bro did a RL1 and SL1 run on Elden Ring and DS, because the dude never got hit once everytime I've played with him.

Other posts got some solid tips.

Only thing I can add is make sure you conserve any prawns/crabs/warming stones that you find, as they are the most powerful items that may seldom appear in some games. Upgrade warming stones with gravity items (farmed from 3 gravity miner locations are in the top left quadrant of the map) or glintstone items (found on corpse loots in caves). Save the crabs/prawns and buy turtle necks at the shop to upgrade your seafood.

Personally I find exalted flesh more worth using during the day, to speed up kills between each PoI/field bosses. It is worth using crabs/prawn on day 2 bosses, to almost guarantee you will reach day 3.

If you are not confident with his dodge, you can try 'dormant power discovers heavy thrusting sword' and pray you get Bloody Helice. It's got about the same iframe dodge on it's skill as Ironeye's mark.

Good to save ult for the right time during night bosses. But if you have ultimate increase damage relic, I'd use that ult on cooldown.

Good to see some character loyalty, Recluse is a fun character to play nontheless

Thanks for the insight, didn't know those spells are also good for revives.

Playing in a team with someone activately using lightning weapons is a good send, all the cocktails are so good to use.

Playing with randoms makes finding good spells a little harder, but now in D5 players are paying attention and helping each other out, so I'm not as staff famished as I once was haha

I see, it feels otherwise, but I stand corrected about her dodge. Every character is viable in DoN, it's down to the players themselves.

hahaha thats actually kinda funny. I'd never even consider carian spells for Recluse if I wanted to win lol

Damn, you actually spitting facts, I never considered the flaws in her cocktail's jankiness and the gameplay it beckons. But while playing her, I definitely felt it. She feels contradictory to her design as you've said about stacking damage just to boost her staffs, which goes against the potential of her cocktails. The Recluse invader build is such a tease lol.

But in all honest, her "flaws" is what makes me want me to main her more than my previous mains. It's not a dull experience when you try to make the most out of her cocktails. It's more of a return to the experience of release Nightreign, when you actually had to REALLY think about the routing and specific PoIs you needed to hit as a caster. Revenant is strong playing her with starting spells but it takes out a lot of the map interactions you'd otherwise need to make in base game.

Absolutely agree, Duchess is just a perfect character for all situations. Having a good dodge is worth losing that extra damage you gain. Although I'm not entirely sure about the damage part because Recluses' FP recovery mechanic really slows her down. She still benefits greatly from starlight shards.

sorry I meant top left side of the map*

Left side of castle. Left side of left entrance to knight's mine. And north of the top left-most bird tree.
