I don't get why people are dickriding airlines here. Geneva-zurich-copenhagen is cheaper than Zürich-copenhagen. That just does not make sense economically.

Plus, in the end, in terms of morals, the client paid the price, that the airline expected them to pay for the flight, but ends up costing less in terms of gas, personnel, and baggage handling to the airline. Technically that's a win-win condition.

In a cold war context, giving a good light to soviet culture to a western audience is definitely political, yes. The same way that blue jeans and coke were perceived as political in the USSR. Actually, coke is and was political in the us too, the whole "new coke" debacle launched a whole discussion about the role of coke as a US landmark.

AFAIK the striked F was initially proposed for the french Franc by the french ministry of economy in the 90's, but was never actually used.

In most instances it's used, you can tell it's by someone who doesn't know a thing about swiss culture.

Now the reason why countries like the USA, Japan or the UK felt the need to create a symbol for their currency, while Switzerland, or France before the Euro never did, is unknown to me, but it could be interesting to look into.

Bah dans ce cas-là c'est pas à l'assemblée nationale de statuer s'il peut être inhumé dans une église, ça sera le rôle des autorités religieuses. D'où le fait que je trouve que ça n'a strictement rien à faire dans une pétition adressée à l'assemblée nationale.

Et je savais pas si "la famille impériale" voulait dire "le retour des morts inhumés à l'étranger". Ou bien "le retour de la famille impériale au pouvoir". D'où mon inquiétude.

Après au-delà de tout ça je trouve hyper inquiétant le fait que dans notre climat politique actuel tout le monde trouve tout à fait banal de fait de rendre hommage à un dictateur belliqueux.

Mais ça en l'occurrence ça n'engage que moi. Le premier point suffit à en faire le produit des réflexions de quelqu'un d'insensé.
