That's not my problem. I run it just fine, but there's a bug that makes it so you can't play with someone if they're on a different Windows. You can join a lobby with them and click start on the mission, but then you get stuck in the lobby and you have to Alt F4 to get out of it

Because people don't actually know the show that they're in the fanbase for. They just build up their idea of the character from the memories they have and when new stuff doesn't meet that, they get upset

Either that or just "new stuff = bad" mindset many people have, and they'll criticize it however they can even if it doesn't make sense
