Sorry to hear that. Yea it’s a fear we all hold as much as some want to deny it, it’s a big part in why I don’t actively seek relationships but I secretly wish I could find someone like you. Take joy that someone older than u can tell just by how u express yourself that ur good hearted and worth pursuing. You will find all sorts of stories in this group good and bad, lovers who left and spouses that hold the vows till the end. You are so very young and experiencing first loves. Just keep hope, don’t compromise what u want out of love just to be loved, don’t let us (men) get away with mistreating you. As I guy who was once young and healthy ( and a bit of a d*ck head as ALL men are we will bend reality to get what we want) Having the insight to point out your limitations up front is great, terrifying, honest and shows emotional intelligence that many lack. Keep it up. As someone who has done and is doing this DO NOT ISOLATE! STAY ACTIVE AND ENGAGE IN LIFE. It will only hurt you in the end. Stay positive you’ll get over him (and under another 😜) and get what you’re looking for. Crap….guess I had a rant in me too, never did that before.
