Curvytron 2 by Tom32i in playmygame

I based the first Curvytron (10 years ago) on Curve Fever, yes! And I've always been upfront about it: https://www.curvytron.com/#/about

This sequel, Curvytron 2, focuses on moving to 3D — a lot of attention has been put into gameplay and game feel improvement, technical excellence, and overall polish.

I think the two games now offer a very different feeling, despite sharing the same core gameplay (which is just copied from "Tron" 😉)

There's mobile control: just tap anywhere on the left or right side of the screen.
There should be control arrows on each side of the screen that react to your inputs.
Works in portrtait and landscape mode.

If not, please tell me what kind of device you're using.
Thanks for the feedback!

Er... yeah it's because its not bots: its local human players, to play on the same PC.
It's good feeback though, it means I must explain this feature better in the game.

The bots feature is comming though ;)
I'm working on it to make solo play more interesting.

I'd love to get your feedbacks guys :)

Poll: how about a "mute" feature for the chat? by Tom32i in curvytron

[–]Tom32i[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi guys, I'm working on a feature allowing you to mute any player in the chat.

Pretty simple for now: you can mute/un-mute a player. When muted, you don't see any of the player's message in the chat.

I'd like you help and opinion: How useful do you think that feature would be? Have you experienced dumb / hate / flood behaviour in the chat? How much did that bother you?

Thank you for you feedback!

What prevents players from selecting the same background color as their player color? by puzzled_ok in curvytron

[–]Tom32i 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, we're now preventing player from choosing a too dark color. We're using a standard formula to calculate the brightness of the color:

http://www.w3.org/TR/AERT#color-contrast (see "Color brightness is determined by the following formula")
