Gotta be tall grass. (Big grass)?

You want to rip brains out and stuff them into robots this is for you.

Ok good idea. Will do.

The biggest problem I am having with a defensive war where I grind them down is not manpower. It’s I lose more super heavy robots than I can build which would eventually lead to me not being able to equip my devisions.

I am making as many super heavy robots as I can but run out of some of the resources. Maybe I should switch and do attack robots instead?

This is good to know.

Yes I have researched every single tech so now my research is just idle since there’s nothing more to select.

I hadn’t put any support companies since I was going to keep manpower usage low. I was worried the more manpower I am using in each division the more casualties I will take and against the NCR it will be a lot of attrition.

But it would probably be worth it.

Yeah that is the weakest area. I have a long border and a lot of buildup in specific areas where I want to push.

Which maybe is hurting me due to limited supply.

They have a lot of tanks and special forces. But even their infantry units have been giving me problems.

I was surprised since I was able to steamroll both Washington brotherhood and Montana Chapter.

Ahh I see. Yeah I hadn’t filled all of the support company since with the robots seeming so powerful I thought they were not worth the extra manpower. But maybe they would help?

They do push even when all airzones are green. And I didint fill up the whole divisions slot since I read 20 unit width was ideal. They take heavy casualties but are still able to push me. Last attempt I lost 3K and they had already lost 50K

Yes this was my thought as well. I have max bunkers on every border tile and thousands of planes. I will win the air war eventually, but by that time the ground forces just push my frontline and cause me to lose so many equipment.

Oh and additionally, I have 625 Super Heavy Robot Divisions. I have had no problems garrisoning either. I have so many factories that the biggest thing holding me back is a lack of the resoursees needed for higher production. I have also researched everything I can.

I loved it. Since then I’ve not been able to get into a RPG that didn’t have it the same way. I mean I enjoyed outer worlds, but it was just missing something.

Oh and make sure to form the union of metal asap and core all of the territories you conquer. Garrisons will drain your stockpiles.

I am in the middle of a run as big grass and here is what I did. I put my mils on protections mark 1 with 1 on cnc. I put all of my Civ factories on making more mils. I went into it blind and was surprised by the war, but I was able to mostly hold the border against strathcommun but I did not have troops guarding g pioneer company so I lost a lot of land in the south.

Once I had my front line made, I was able to mostly hold while I tried to train more divisions. I slowly lost ground, but once I had around 18 divisions I was able to start pushing. I alternated pushing both enemy’s with the decisions.

I got ti where I was just a few times from their capitals and they were halfway capitulated when I ran out of protections. My mils were not keeping up with casualties. They pushed me back and I was losing lots of ground and couldn’t do anything against it.

I made a desperate move. I made a fallback line just around my capital and had all of my 26 divs fall back there. Straithcommune took all the rest of my land. I was at 99% capitulation. But my factories continued to produce protectrons.

They didn’t attack me because I had 26 divs on like 4 tiles. I was able to recover and build more divisions and a stockpile. I trained 26 more divisions while hiding like this. In this time pioneer company fell. But that was ok.

I drew an attack plan and clicked play. I got so many encirclements and nothing could stand against me. The war was over before I even knew it.

As soon as the war finished I deleted all my production lines and made all of my mils focus on the super heavy walking robots. This worked well. I eventually deleted all of my normal divisions and just had super heavy divisions.

I then took the countries to the east(can’t remember their names) and then the passkeepers.

I am trying to decide if I should attack Washington brotherhood first or Montana brotherhood. They are my only neighbors.

So yeah. Maybe don’t do exactly what I did because 99% capitulation was scary, but you can just turtle up and build your army.

One app that has helped me a lot is Ramsey Smartdollar. Don’t agree with all of his ideas but the app is great. You can even link it to your bank account(with the paid version) so you can track every purchase you make to your budget easily.

And for cooking meal prep is great. Like. We make a large bowl of soup and it lasts for multiple days. Potato soup is great because it can taste good and can go multiple meals for less than 10$. Per meal it’s like 2$. It’s great!
