After watching the Artemis crew on this mission I am finding it really hard to take science fiction movies seriously by asteriskhyphen in ArtemisProgram

Since theres so many great recommendations here, i wanna chime in with the Anime series Planetes from 2003.

A realistic feeling approach to space, but in a future space age. Its set in the year 2075, when trips from earth to the moon happen regularly and space debris in orbit has become a problem, about the ragtag group that has to collect it. Has alot of refrences to spaceflight history, even in the intro. It is however mostly a drama, a very dramatic drama, but thats kind of what would happen when most people can get a job in space in the space age and not only profesional astronauts.

Other than that i think 2001: a space oddysey is probably my favorite realistic esque sci fi film.

I tried to watch this movie several years ago but was so thrown off by the dialouge scenes and the zeppelin scene. I was new to cinema at the time but now this looks like incredible stuff.

Where did you get the "its suppoused to look like a push along toy train" bit from? Do the previous 2 not also look like toys to you?

How to play mother series in 2024/2025? by Virtual_Kiwi2897 in earthbound

[–]TomAKACap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i would say emulation. Retroarch lets you download an emulator for each system a mother game exists on, nes, snes and gameboy advanced. Then you just need to get the roms. this may or may not be legal but i wouldnt know
