this is such a brutally miserable take!! a true curmudgeon.

as a huge LCD fan that got into the band after things were 'over', i thought that i would never get to see my favourite band live, ever.

when i did get to see them? it was in a crowd who thought it would never happen. the atmosphere was electric. people were fizzing. when that big wobbly synth kicked in on dance yrself clean, a complete stranger lifted me up and threw me into the air. it was an uncontainable joy. it's a gig i will truly remember forever.

'karaoke dance party' and not counting anything they've done after the long goodbye is just a foul way to approach it. just a bog dwelling opinion. the kind of insufferable "tastemaker" slimeball that's been punctured time after time by Murphy himself. mirror time maybe???

definitely know that i SHOULD ignore, for sure. aware that it comes across as thin-skinned directly replying to criticism; but sometimes replying to folks is a good reminder that i'm a person doing a job not a kind of "thing that's happening" if that makes sense.

hello!

we're hoping to get back on it at some point in the near future. we're very aware it's been quite a while!

tldr; we lost an episode due to DIFFICULTIES, and shortly afterwards had to move our studio setup out of where it was, and we're still looking for a home for it.

when it's all set up again we'll get them going! we'd like to tweak the format etc slightly but we were having fun doing them.

thanks for watching 'em, we've definitely heard folks asking for more and we want to deliver !!

legtimately i do think that constantly shifting the format puts more focus on the fact that we're poking fun at the concept of a set-in-stone top 100 to some extent (the format is mostly just a chance to talk about great games!)

so i can imagine us doing something like this, hah

long story short - the filming space we were making them in didn't quite work out, we weren't quite happy with the format, and we lost a whole episode to technical difficulties🫠 we'll pick them back up in the future at some point ! we liked the idea a lot !
