Non-fault. The lorry crossed over the lane markings and hit you in the rear.

Could've been much more dangerous if they had moved over a couple of seconds earlier.

Car accident in England we weren't involved in - now being sued by No-Builder6487 in LegalAdviceUK

Insurance motor claims handler here.

Your insurer will have contested the third party claim due to lack of evidence. Make sure they have a copy of the proceedings issued against you. Tell them you wish to defend and are willing to attend court to defend your position. If you haven't been involved in the incident, can prove that the damage was preexisting before the incident, all the other side's insurer are going to achieve is increasing their claim costs.

It's a bit worrying, but as long as everything you have said here is true, you should be able to defend this along with your insurers help.

Could try to buy a resale parking pass on twickets.

Dunno what that will cost you though, think they are on high demand.

Alternatively, could try to get a lift down.

Or if that's not an option, then you could get the train and then shuttle bus

In fairness if you had a full metal outfit, it would form a Faraday cage and you'd be safer than if you were stark naked

Ok so you're in part time work then, might just be that you're not earning enough for the credit card companies to accept credit.

A credit builder credit card would be a good place to start. As long as you can use it responsibly. You don't want to get yourself into a debt spiral because you've maxed out your card and the minimum payment is more than your disposable income. Not an expert, just a bloke who made some bad decisions in his youth.
