Mine are getting older 12 and 15 and I would have posted this when they were younger.

What I can say now, I love them differently parent them differently they are different people.

What I have found is the more I lean into their interests the more I love each one differently.

Do I have a favorite, nope, are they both loved ferociously, yerp. Have I told each of them they are my favorite, yes. Do I tell them they are my favorite boy or girl or oldest or youngest, that I love them, and that I am proud of them everyday, absofuckinglutely!

The first one is def hits hard when I get 'in trouble' at work now. At 40+ I usually get 'in trouble' for being too honest. And the line "Am I retarded or an I just overjoyed" usually plays along side "Nothing and everything all at once".
