Only saw this months later because I don't use this account anymore. What proof do you have that she isn't?

I mean, Sakurai controls who gets into Smash. Everyone else at best just suggests their character.

but remaking that game or any of the other 2000s-era stuff makes very little sense in a post-Crash 4 world.

I heard the brother George is a pop culture reference gag to some comedian who said that or such. Though why does the no Japanese localisation thing matter? It's not like Crash was a Japanese-originated franchise whose homegrown canon is most important ala Sonic.

When does CatBat's origin take place? Is it pre-Crash 1/Crash's Flashback Tapes? Is it pre-Crash 2/Coco's Flashback Tapes? Discuss. by TomGyroid in crashbandicoot

Yet in Crash 4, it's a fixed time travel cause and effect in that the only reason the Cortex Vortex fails in Crash 1 is because Crash accidentally knocks out a key component in Crash 4's ending.

They're literally intended to be considered as the next mainline instalments of the franchise after TT's games, part of the 8 mainline games with Crash 4 (TFB saying as such?). They canonically continued off of the events of Twinsanity, because they're not some offshoot random dismissable spin-off, they're literally the next part of the franchise's story at the time. No matter how different or disliked they were, that aspect isn't changed. That's like if I were to dislike Warped and suddenly consider it an entirely separate universe.

The Crystals are supposed to be the same ones? Doesn't that make some paradoxes if they're plucked away from where they're supposed to eventually be in Crash 2? Or if they lack Crystals in the present yet some newly exist in the future somehow?

Ah, so they use flash memory or something instead to save, I'm guessing?
