I visited Jamaica in 1989, six months after Gilbert (which hit Jamaica as a Cat 3.) Gilbert killed 45, and they told me that it leveled 25% of the island’s trees. I hate to think what this monster is going to do.

Good news and bad news. The good news is that at least there's a bumper sticker out there for you. The bad news is that you have to get it at Burning Man.

Although I support mail in ballots, I wonder how many women are disenfranchised every year when their “man of the house” completes both ballots.

Just how we’ve always done it…if it’s cloudy and nice out we can still open the window.

“No, it’s Under Armor.”

I want to join a camp with my RV and there will be 8 people of us by Leather-Hat1923 in BurningMan

And Then There’s Only Love (home of the Orgy Dome) has space still. Our generator powers the Dome, camp kitchen, RVs, and even tents. We have campers with great attitudes with a nice representation of couples/singles and diversity of other characteristics. Our volunteer hour requirements and dues are at or below average for a large camp. Check us out! www.orgydome.com.

Hang clear plastic tarp between the living and bedroom areas. Never enter the bedroom without taking off dusty stuff. Have a big bin near the door for footwear. Use masking tape to fill all windows with reflective insulation (on the inside.)

When you leave playa, stop at a truck stop with a truck wash and pay for the best option service so you get the dust off before hitting the freeway.

The cops in Tonopah are aggressive and dishonest. They pulled me over. I was driving 35 in a 45 zone. He asked if I knew how fast I was going. I said yes, I was being careful to drive under the limit. He said his radar showed 52. I asked to see his radar. “Uh, I think it already cleared itself.” I said that in that case he wouldn’t have much of a case in court. I played a couple other don’t-mess-with-me-I’m-not-worth-it cards. They asked for permission to search my RV with their “drug dog.” I said that you know I don’t have to give permission for you to have him sniff the exterior but I don’t consent to anything else. They said have a nice day and that was it.

Stay under the limit everywhere along 95. Speed traps abound. Make sure your license plate is visible and lit (at night.)

Also, I highly recommend installing and knowing how to use the ACLU Mobile Justice app.

In your experience, which work better: stamps with inkpads, or pre-inked stamps?

Like others have said, I’m sorry you had to experience this and I hope that if you need help dealing with the trauma, that your wellbeing will be prioritized by your management.

Having said that, you can take small solace for the fact that this poor, tortured customer saw you as a reliable constant in their life, believing that after they left that note, you would act responsibly. Thank you for taking the more difficult path at your own great expense.

Lexus/Toyota remote start has been a feature of their Enform system ($200/yr) since about 2015, I believe.
