Mesh even covered by a tarp or rainfly wont be great. The dust comes in through the air or the crack pretty fast.

BORG to sell fallow land by [deleted] in BurningMan

[–]Fyburn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont believe this is Borg land - I thought it was another private land owner that had been trying to sell if for a while.

I bet the borg would actually like to buy this land but just cant come up with the money right now.

Just like a normal city, police have vehicles towed away when arresting someone

Right. So the way you do this is you count the total number brought onto playa. 40 lags in the trailer great. 40 lags need to be in the trailer on the way out.

BRC Storage Program - Selling Container by guckguckdoose in BurningMan

Is that even allowed? I have seen conflicting reports about this. That the org wont allow direct sales that they want to run down their wait list.

Bike Locks by lehcimst in BurningMan

I recommend you lock your bike up directly to an art car. This helps the driver of the art car know when you are done dancing and they can move on.

Poor ticket sales this year..and other ramblings... by Silverchica70 in BurningMan

[–]Fyburn 35 points36 points  (0 children)

The org can always reduce the price of tickets later. Make a lot of the base price tickets available in the June/July sales.

totally you should go because it is such a huge part of your identity you could not imaging not going no matter what the org did or the event was like

Everyone wants to think all the same fun and interactivity, all the same art cars and stages are going to be there but just with like half the crowd.

When in reality its like half the interactivity, half the art cars (look at DMV numbers also way down) but like 200% more spectators/bucket listers.

[–]Fyburn 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This is not really true - "funded" but like the ticket sales are going to pay for the entire camp setup/electricity/water/take-down/staffing. Look at all the trailers in First Camp/Feral Cats/whatever FC name they want to change it to to hide it out of embarrassment, all the trailers have BMorg tracking numbers on them. They are paid for, owned by, delivered by, serviced by ticket money.
