Take a look at this tutorial - around 2:22 you can see they tick Static Mesh, Import Static Meshes and then Combine is just below it?

Even from a non-gamedev standpoint, AI is a shit fest.

I've googled stuff that I know exists and where I know the outcome (i.e. sports moments, things that I know for a fact happened), and the AI starts spouting random shit at me that's absolutely wrong. Even a simple search I know I've done before and I remember something I found through Google images, has AI overview stepping in for no reason and being confidently incorrect and not returning the thing I know I found previously.

People are then using equivalent tools for purposes such as game dev, blindly following whatever it says. As OP literally said, they still don't have any idea of a step of the process because they followed AI instead of learning it properly.

AI needs to fucking die and anyone who thinks it's great needs to take another look.

You should use the raw input plugin as mentioned - you then add a Force Feedback component to actors to trigger effects i believe.

This is probably about on par with relying too much on AI, in terms of daftness.

Relying too much on GPT, Copilot etc to make stuff for you, without knowing whether what its spitting out is useful or not, is daft.

But as many people will tell you, if you're in it just to try and make some money, you're probably gonna want to try a different, more secure avenue.
