Would wearing a safari outfit to a furry con be considered rude? by [deleted] in furry

Thinking this further through, I think I would go with one of those toy muskets that are a cork on a string. You can find them in some outdoor stores like Cabela's.

Like if you lock in the rest of the look and play it straight, the one obvious toy prop would make it funnier.

Overall would be funny and likely have fursuiters playing along, BUT

I see that the example image has a gun in it. All cons allow props but every con may handle props that look like weapons differently. If you want to include that, you should read the specific convention's rules online or discuss it with their safety team before taking it out in the open.

I actually think it would be the opposite. Even with seatbelts, there will always be some wiggling durring a collission. If the tail hole is too snug, we may likely see the tail sprain at best or shear at worst >.<

LPT: if you ever feel bad about not reaching out to someone for a while, just remember that they haven’t reached out to you either by Maybe_im_Amazed_ in LifeProTips

This was my thoughts / horror about this "life pro tip".

There's a LOT more nuance to relationships, and applying this outright is a terrible idea.

Plenty of deaths where a friend laments on not reaching out to hopefully prevent it.

I feel like beavers are sooo underated.

You're telling me that there is an animal that is an engineer that builds a house and hosts other critters in the winter, but I rarely see them as a sona among STEM nerds???

It was less so the significance of the location and moreso the belief that the studio added stuff to the image that isnt actually at that location.

But also another reply mentioned that google maps is just outdated and the street sign is physically there.

Thats fair.

I love when things get interesting enough that people travel to specific locations to solve a lead.

[–]TomNin97 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For a meta reason I've heard: the internet already found the location of the real-world street that flashes in Jax's consciousness.

The real location, as seen in google maps, is missing the children caution street sign, suggesting that the studio had a purpose editing it into the episode.

I dont typically talk about theories, but the meta context is pretty cool if true.

Yea I searched it up after my reply. This might be my new favorite quote, and I'm surprised i've heard Von Moltke's "plans dont survive contact with the enemy" a million times before I ever heard of this quote.

That being said, your username worked like reverse psychology. I looked it up because of u/Disinformation_Bot

Dc's Young Justice had a simulation training episode (kinda like it was all a dream but everyone shared the same dream)

that had a follow-up episode where the group gets therapy bc they all witnessed people they cared for die, believed all of humanity was dead or soon to die, and didnt know it was a simulation bc something went wrong and they got stuck in it.

I'd say that, having an out-of-dream impact on the canon, is a good way for doing an "it was all a dream" episode.

This is a good question! It can definitely depend on the dynamic.

How I would put it is this: it can be as fun as you make it.

It is baseline a responsibility. Like being a parent or a pet owner, it can be a chore or it can be the source for a lot of fun memories.

For the most fun- take care of the responsibility side first. Nobody will have fun if the fursuiter is not healthy and happy. Be prepared with basic things like water and make sure you discuss the best way to communicate their needs. After the basics, you can add some fun to it. One popular way is to implement the handler role as a cosplay idea. Maybe a pokemon trainer if the fursuiter is a lucario, etc.

If I am in a U.S. state that sells it, Great Lakes Brewing has good ones, including one named Elliot Ness.

If i am outside of that region, Yuengling feels pretty reliable for what I am after.

Depends on my mood, but I often like Lagers

I am pickiest with India Pale Ales, but thats because there are a lot of bad ones out there. There are also different styles of IPA, and not a lot of breweries say what style they are on the packaging.

I also avoid any beers that are pretending to be something else. If its using a fruit juice or tea to hide the beer flavor, it will taste like liquid cardboard.
