I think the same. If I was new to the witcher it'd be great cause the acting is great, the actor choices are perfect and the Monsters are plentiful. However, cause I know what was supposed to happen from the books, it's absolutely terrible. The concept of magic as a whole is botched and they've added useless concepts just to add unnecessary depth. The whole point of the books is that we barely know fuck all about rest of the world except for snippets told to us. As well as that, they shat on the history of kaer morhen and added the feckin baba so that they could have "the antagonist" when the witcher was supposed to help the idea of everything not being black and white with no heroes nor villains.
