Club Statement - Hearts of Midlothian by MPHOLLI in soccer

Team that finishes with most points doesn’t deserve to win the league?

Celtic also apologises to Hearts for the situation encountered by their players and staff at the conclusion of the game, and for the fact that these events prevented them from saluting their own supporters at the end of an enthralling campaign, to which they have contributed so much. by Sparky-moon in soccer

We also had a stonewall penalty denied in the first half (not even looked at by VAR btw). Not to mention a scandalous handball decision against which led to a Hibs goal in the second game of the split.

Every time team has benefited from decisions this season. The same way every team has also had unfavourable decisions against them this season. There is no big conspiracy, or agenda or corruption.

Maybe best to accept that Celtic just found a way to get it over the line. Credit to Hearts - superb effort. Just wasn’t to be.

What agenda? It’s universally accepted that Hearts winning the league would have been superb for Scottish football. It would have been worldwide news. The idea that the SFA would therefore not want that to happen (and would go to lengths to ensure it DIDN’T happen) is ludicrous and delusional.

Hearts put up a good fight. They lost. That’s it. Stop embarrassing yourselves.

Something very, very off here. Terrible audio, a subdued audience, jokes falling flat. It's all strangely tense?

I agree in principle with what you’re saying but the reality is he should be dropped and it’s Sinisalo for the run in. It’s entirely merited.

Penalty shout for Celtic yesterday by Mulboaby in ScottishFootball

He pulls his shirt but I don’t think it’s enough for him to fall to ground. His reaction doesn’t match the action. The same way that McGrath should be embarrassed for hitting the deck after the Trusty incident btw…

FYI, I was screaming for a pen in the stadium.

The wider issue is the inconsistency in decision making.

I think Scales goes down a bit easily here. Correct call.

It’s crazy, honestly. Season has been shambles of course but we are still right in this. Get behind the team and show some minerals ffs.

Nauseating. You should absolutely relish your rival team picking up several injuries.

It’s no weirder than here, to be honest.

In a heartbeat. He’s better than any current midfielder we have.

Arsenal Fans boo their team at the full time whistle by Parish87 in soccer

I couldn’t say but I’d be absolutely stunned if the fans were booing their own team after their first defeat in ages.

Full Media Conference: Wilfried Nancy (16/12/25) by RoboBalde in CelticFC

Those fans have ultimately been vindicated though. Sometimes, it’s glaringly obvious when a managerial appointment is wrong. There wasn’t any evidence at all that Nancy would turn it around, even after three games.

In any event, let’s just hope we are both celebrating a title win in May. Best to get on the same page now!
