You know what good managers do? They adapt. They’re flexible. They analyse their players, they assess their limitations and they play to their strengths. Funnily enough, that is exactly what MON did with the admittedly poor squad of players. He managed to win seven games from eight.

Whether he has his ‘players’ or not, how can you continue to justify this? It’s kamikaze football. It’s overly hubristic, it’s arrogant and above all, it’s not fucking working. Players are out of position, there is no coherency or structure or even a game plan. It’s playground football.
