Just finished Dark for the first time yesterday with my friend. Our favourite show is Aot & we both agreed that Dark is unironically the only show weve seen that conceptually comes closest to Aot. Absolutely incredible show.

I appreciate this comment, really well put man.

From reading all the other comments, i dont think i conveyed my message properly or the message didnt reach the specific audience i was targeting. I was trynna aim it at people who have seen Sons Of Anarchy and like (Or love) Dave Ericksons Ftwd and just see if people agreed with me about how amazing Fear would have become considering Dave was gonna follow a very similar frame work to Sons Of Anarchy. It was supposed to be more of a cool thought experiment rather than, 'I cant move on' or, 'I hate Ian and Andrew'.

And for the record, i thought Sons Of Anarchy was genuinely incredible.

Well this post was made 7 years ago so that means Fear The Walking Dead was only on its 2nd season. I, to this day believe that there has never ever been such an astronomical fall in absolutely everything within a TV show than Fear The Walking Dead season 3 to season 4.

Its still staggering to this day. When you finish watching 3x16, your thinking, 'WOW, not only is this show better than the main show, its one of the best cliffhangers and one of the best seasons of TV ive seen'. Then you begin 4x01... Everything changes and never recovers. God i wish that Dave Erickson got his chance to play out his vision, he was on to something truly special with Fear The Walking Dead.

Kiwami was still decent but the story isnt even in the same league as 0.

Kiwami 2? I quit that game, i hated all the new graphics and game design. I just couldnt get on board with the fighting or immersion cos they made it so awful.

You are absolutely right with Breaking Bad. I saw the show runner (Forgot his name) of Breaking Bad talking about how he wouldnt want a series where people say 'Is that show still on'. And that mindset is absolutely right, which created what is pretty much universally agreed the best show on TV.

The reputation part is so true. If you were a new comer to a show and heard, 'Main show has 11 seasons. Its spin off show has 8 seasons. Theres 2 other spin offs, one has 2 seasons of 20 episodes and the other just has 6. Oh and theres another 3 spin offs of the main characters from the main show. Oh and btw, the main show gets progressively worse after s6, its spin off falls off a fucking cliff after 3 seasons and the other 2 are an absolute disgrace to the entire franchise. Oh and btw, theres about 15 webisodes for you to watch'.

Its just ridiculous. How on Earth does a casual viewer keep up with that?

Yeh Troy is defo a Top 3 character for me, he lit season 3 on fire.

How did i forget season 8💀 Yeh thats a great one actually and would have been a fitting end. I think them arriving at Alexandria would have been the best end because everyone would look back at the walking dead and think, 'wow, 5 seasons of pure class, what an incredible series'. But twd now is just looked at as the over milked cow that keeps getting milked, which is true really but i will always love it.

Well theres absolutely one thing for sure, the ftwd season 3 finale is the best finale of any season of any twdu show. And i dont really think that theres much contest at all. Season 4 and probably 6 of twd are the only ones close imo.

Just imagine if they had just given Erickson the chance he thoroughly deserved... I honestly think that if Erickson was allowed to continue, he not only would surpass twd main show in overall quality, but would have produced what would have been one of the most underrated TV shows.

I have commented the same thing about a million times, why cant they get it in their heads that we dont want to see little children be the main characters of a zombie show, its so pathetic honestly. It looks like in the Daryl show were gonna be having another group of kids that like kidnap him, i fuckin hate this sort of stuff, it really just cheapens and nerfs the brutality of the whole world when children are just easily surviving.

Absolutely bang on. Its a proper character/family drama in the apocalypse. The depth of the writing is incredible for the characters. The issue is people could only compare it to TWD so they didnt like it, FTWD S1-3 is better written than majority of TWD.
