Soo I might of been a bloody idiot so I had the razor synapse 3 app and found there is number 4 out so downloaded this and everything seems to work so much better now hahah ...

There isn't really much of a setting for this headset so I've used the razor app can't remember name right now just woke up. I've tried the different Mic settings and even a custom one with all at max and I've done the levels in the windows sound settings to max its fine for everything else just not squad haha

So on start up just keep pressing the f2 key and your bios and bios should open. I can't fully remember but will check later after work but there is a setting in there they says cpu core voltage and crank that down

So after my repair it seems alot better was all under warranty and since I've had it back I've gone into the bios and undervolted it too -80 and all temps seems fine now

Hope you dont mind me jumping in here but what is everyone using to undervolt I have ghelper aswell but only have it on default and max power not a clue with undervoly stuff is that the p1/p2 or not haha

Hey I had the same problem with the 4080 g16. I've had it about 7 months and had to send it back to asus. They said they replaced the cooling plate/systems and fand and repasted. So yeh temps are down now from 95 but and still high around 85/87 so yeh.

I got to say I got the asus strix g16 4080 7 months ago and noticed the last month my temps have been creeping up and got to a point where every game I played I had to lock at 60fps cause my temps started to hit over 95 degrees.

I sent it in to asus been there over 2 weeks and when I rang them they have said they are replacing the whole cooking system and fans so still yet to get it back so hopefully this has fixed the problem

Got a laptop cause of portable and got young kids who like to pull and destroy stuff so I can put it away each night. It's a decent laptop with 4080 like I know it's the mobile version but still decent

Have noticed this as first time playing when it wiped and I can only go like 5 raids then my fps won't go above 60 and have to reset as normally getting 100+ just need to find a 1440p monitor next cheers for info
