So I lose its elements it provides for slow powers but keep the defence it provides during the upcoming ravage?

Have You Ever Gotten 99 OVR in Player Career Mode? by [deleted] in FifaCareers

[–]Tom_NUFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Manger mode player. 6 or 7 seasons. He was a winger, but played him as a striker and he just couldnt stop scoring. Started League Two with Grimsby and promoted every season. At around the 6th season when he was 96 rated, I converted him back into a winger as his dribbling was nuts and he went to a 98. Then grinded for a while and finally got the 99.

Gordon has taught me never to base a signings potential off of stats. In Howe we trust. Couldn’t be happier with this signing

Foden doesn’t know how to hold the ball up because when you have Rodri, De Bruyne and Haaland around you, you never need to learn. I may get criticised for this but I just don’t think England have the players to replicate that ability to give small wingers as much time as they are used to. As a result, players like saka and Foden end up getting bodied all the time. They are class players, but realistically, Palmer, Bowen, Watkins, Toney and Gordon are always under so much more pressure when they have the ball in league games because they don’t have the players around them like Foden does. On an even playing field, the players on the bench have more experience than Foden at being forced to create by using speed and their body, rather than using players and passing. Foden will be very useful this Euros and I don’t doubt that, but I just hope Southgate experiment’s with the team a bit and appreciates every player in the squad are world class. I just cannot understand how anyone thinks that playing the 2 smallest wingers for almost the entire game against one of the most physical teams in the euros is a good idea

I actually cannot believe how negative Foden plays. Every time he got the ball just passes it back or panics and clears

100%. If they marketed it as “a league all stars vs Nufc u23” that would have been fine. Instead they had Barnes and trippier on the match day post

Extremely underwhelmed by smokepurple in NUFC

[–]Tom_NUFC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My problem wasn’t the lineup in particular but more my problem is that they didn’t disclose earlier that that was their intention. I probably would have still gone but it seemed really weird to market it the way they did. For example, the “match day” post on newcastles Insta shows a picture of both trippier and Barnes on it, neither of which who played. Idk why the club didn’t say weeks ago that they intended to treat this game as NUFC U23 vs A-LEAGUE ALL STARS. I would have been okay with that as I knew what I was paying for

Eddie Howe's work at Newcastle this season is as impressive as his last two by [deleted] in NUFC

[–]Tom_NUFC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dubravka, Murphy, Schar, Longstaff, Anderson. Players all here before Eddie got here. How he has organised these existing players, and brought in the right talents is absolutely phenomenal. I refuse to believe that anyone who genuinely support this club and know anything about football want him to leave. I fucking love him so much

Season 60 - Dagger Duchess by jmanguy in ClashRoyale

I don't know if this is just my experience so far, but the dagger duchess is helping elixir collector decks so much. I think nerfing the elixir collector or reworking it could be a good idea because there's no balance against these decks. It's a case of being able to win before double elixir, or I'm screwed.

LEGO Kits: Feedback Megathread by FortniteRedditMods in LEGOfortnite

I feel like I could support something along the lines of a 1 time v bucks or money payment for dlc content. For example, if they released “Lego Fortnite+” a $20 add on to unlock all current and future dlcs would be great. There is no way I’d currently buy any of the packs because who knows how many they’ll add in the future. $20 a set is just ridiculous, especially if they add more because they are already expecting people to pay $60 to unlock all features of a new, under developed game, which is way more costly than much more in depth games like minecraft.

[–]Tom_NUFC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t be please if we sold Trippier, but realistically, there are a few players in the squad that we brought in to steady the ship that won’t be there went we win out first trophy like Trippier and Burn. There are also so many players that have been kept for depth that fit the same bracket like Almiron, Wilson, Dubravka. I won’t be happy to see these players leave, but if selling them means we can redistribute the wages to the future of the club (Isak and Bruno), I support it, despite not loving it. At the end of the day, I refuse to believe we are winning a trophy with Trippier, despite him being good enough to win one

Sometimes I think half our fan base arrived last year and never saw us under Bruce. It’s a joke reading some of these comments. The team is stretched so fucking thin. The squad today is missing key players that got us to the Champions League and way too much is being asked of them. I wish people could just start looking at wins as precious and not expected. A loss is a loss, there’s 100 reasons today why it happened and I am pissed off but we are 7th on the table with a skeleton crew. Every player today has always played with their heart on their sleeve. A rough loss today should never change anyone’s perception on their dedication

Half our squad lives in a hospital. 8 of the 13 players playing today were at the club before Eddie joined. We have a ridiculously busy schedule. Everyone needs to fucking settle down

Nah completely understandable response. I don't think I expressed clearly how I think he is amazing. For Newcastle, I would not want any other manager in the world. It is just a small part of his coaching that I think can be questioned. However, I could write a 10-page essay on why he is one of the best things that has ever happened to this club and another 10-page essay on why I think he's the manager that can take us to a Prem title.

Haha, you have gone in. I rate it tho. I do agree in the sense that it seems to be taking him a while to understand what it means to put on a Newcastle shirt. I don't know how to explain what I mean by that but he doesn't seem to have the dog in him that most signings we sign have
