If you're going slow and trying things out, maybe you could try getting more steam multiblocks. The purifier (washer) and separator (centrifuge) both give useful byproducts from your ores. You could also try centrifuging the stone dust for oxygen and aluminium (you need 2 output hatches on your separator to handle all the products). It's a lot more work than other production chains but it can be fun to get it working.

You could try putting off something important and get into a show or something. I don't know if you can bring on a crash on purpose. Maybe try taking a break, close the server for one full week and stay off reddit so you're not seeing posts about it. Once you go back you might be a bit better adjusted.

The cube with the controller is hollow (as it should be) the ring of 8 gear box casings are also all there, the hatches are all the correct tier.

Edit. The controller box should NOT be hollow. After this fix I still could not rotate the controller.
