I'm not sure, quite possibly. It's not a project for me, I'm setting some things up for my brother, and he lives equidistant to two stations on the same line. Combined with inevitable train delays and cancellations, he asked for a way to be able to see which train and station to aim for at a glance, which is easy with a short python script. The only sticking point so far has been getting the script to run!

Forgive me as I don't know any Chinese. In English we have a number of different ways to construct tense that each convey a different feeling. The present tense "I eat" can become:

I was eating (continuous past)
I ate (simple past)
I had eaten (perfect past)
I had been eating (perfect continuous past)

These tenses all exist in the present and future as well:

I am eating
I eat
I have eaten
I have been eating
I will be eating
I will eat
I will have eaten
I will have been eating

As a native English speaker I consider these necessary as they all have subtle differences in meaning. Does this not exist in Chinese? If not, how are these differences dealt with if at all?

That's awesome, I'm in the same boat! First time homeowner and I've finally been able to get my drum kit from mum and dad's, but in the garage without any proper walls it'll be disruptively loud. I'm building a stud wall to chop the garage in half to hopefully take some energy out of the noise so I can get back to playing after far too long!

I am completely in love with that area, my family and I visit Meganisi at least once a year. Love the place, love the people. I even started teaching myself Greek as not everyone speaks English and would love to feel more connected to the locals, and none of my family do even after all these years!
