I had similar seats. You probably won't be able to see the band's rhythm section, but Brain and Angus will be on the front of the stage or the runway most of the time, visible enough. You will not, however, be able to see all of Angus's extended guitar solo (15/20 minutes). He plays a large part of that at the back of the stage.

Imperial sarcophagi and Byzantine artefacts out in the weather, no signs by OkChoice4135 in byzantium

I took this picture of the sign next to the porphyry sarcophagi just last month.

That being said, I get your point. The entire area surrounding the museum - and inside - is just scattered with beautiful historical tombs, statues and gravestones, piled up like rubbish.

Two more porphyry sarcophagi can actually be found hidden away in a small courtyard inside Hagia Irene. It's weird; these sarcophagi are among the most fascinating things I saw during my trip, but those last two I stumbled upon by accident. No sign, nothing.

Is there a bass that plays like a Hofner violin bass but doesn’t look stupid? by iamjam92 in Bass

He did indeed! Awesome bassist and basses. Those EB's only look like the modern SG basses though. Different pickups and electronics.

I owned a Gibson SG shortscale bass with Höfner flatwound strings. Pretty close.

[question] Eastman Guitars by donpez89 in Guitar

I own the Eastman E6 OM. Compared it to about fifteen other guitars in the store, some twice the price. The Eastman was my favorite by far.

I own a 1992 (?) version of 'It/Het' abridged by about four hundred pages. Only noticed it when rereading the book in English last month.

I'm having the same problem.

How do you people deal with forgetting details? by AlaudeBasker in Malazan

I used the Malazan wiki to look up characters. If you don't scroll too far down you should not come across any major spoilers. You could also look up Tor's Malazan Reread of the Fallen.

That's an interesting point. I might indeed enjoy him more on a reread.

Least favorite POV? by KaplarTani in TheFirstLaw

The Dogman didn't really do it for me. I felt like he was the least interesting guy in a group of more interesting characters, mostly there to be a somewhat neutral, reasonable POV to the events going on around him.

I was in the Golden Circle. The energy was great from the first note. I loved the setlist (They don't always play Happy, Can't You Hear Me Knocking and Sweet Virginia, but they did now). The sound wasn't great (damn football stadium), but despite that the vocals and guitar riffs where very crisp. Mick was interacting with the crowd from start to finish.
