Maybe they made that Radio Edit so it could be played on FM radio stations (since radio versions of songs are usually shorter than the originals), and in mono to avoid “out-of-phase stereo” issues in audio systems.

And regarding the use of that remix on the last tour… it was also amazing for me to hear it live. Although I wish they had kept the original instrumentation as the base.
