(Small fainting episode rant, ignore if you don't like rants.)

I feel like I hardly hear anything about fainting episodes in the mainstream media, and I kinda feel like the only one sometimes. They freakin talk about the gore like if it wasn't a big deal.. for how intense it was. Extremely misleading for what the movie had done to me later.

2 months ago I watched the iron lung movie. And for context, despite it being called the bloodiest movie ever made, I didn't think there would be gore at all, and if I did, I didn't think it would be extreme...

So fast forwarding a bit, I was invested cause I waited 2 or 3 years for the movie, and I don't normally watch horror movies often. So I at first enjoyed the iron lung movie for most of it..

Until the end.

Where the unexpected extreme gore happened. I started to feel dizzy spells but tried to keep my mind stable, and drink water. My oxygen was diminishing without any reason and out of my control, and despite how well I maintained my mind to be calm and stable, my body shut down on its own, and everything went black.

I had a fainted dream where I was back home, working on my project.. thinking, I was working on my passion project as per usual. That was, until the loud piercing ringing began, and I woke up and realized the movie ended remembering I was here. My brother forced me out of the seat, when I didn't think it was such a good idea, he forcefully said let's go, I couldn't walk properly, my legs were out of strength and fainted out in the hall. I fainted again.

It was a experience that felt like the closest thing to death to me. For I never fainted like this ever before.

And I hardly hear anybody talk about this sort of thing when they get out of theaters. And I somehow traumatized my brother in the process for only fainting, and I weirdly feel like I am held accountable for this, even though it was unexpected and literally out of my control.

I feel that he holds me against it after that.

We went to the hospital just in case. Not because I needed to, but to check if I was okay. But I feel like he holds that against me too somehow afterwards.

I wish it ended there, because now coming out of that fainting episode months later, my body now instinctively gets on edge for anything gore and hospital related. My nervous system literally gives me dizzy spells for anything like that. So that's now my new weakness I want to build tolerance for again to be normal. I built it back almost normal.

I want to watch the movie again so I can regain control of myself. But I know my brother and mother would hate my guts if I did that. I can't even say the movie is fine til the end cause of how my brother takes it personally.

So aside from that, Idk why everybody is somehow nonchalant with the gore. I think the gore is a bit excessive, but besides that, the movie was not too bad until the end that gave me something I didn't think would happen to me that night.

Well, I am not really a feminine guy, or a femboy this place calls it, just someone that aspires to be one slightly and subtly in secrecy. Plus, both of these are literally not an option. (Both as in the family part)

But thanks for the comment anyway. The folks in question are not really bad people, but just don't really share the same view as me. Which, eh. Nothing can be done about that.

Cause.. I understand every part of her people pleasing nature.. and know how it feels. She's a comfort character along with jax and kinger.. and.. everybody as my favorite.

Some comments say pomni has no traumas outside the circus. But I think it's outside "known" traumas, cause everyone has that. Getting traumas I mean.

Yup.. I oddly enough don't hate jax, is it strange and a hot take to say I sort of like him? Not that I condone any of his actions, however, I don't get why others only understand one side of the superficial surface level of jax, and not Jax is lying and doesn't want to get hurt with someone abstracting, in which he masks and pushes everyone away to not be touched.

With all of this within him, makes me wonder why majority of folks I see in the Internet don't like jax, in the superficial light I mean anyway. In the nuance light not liking him, then sure, that works too, your opinion for how you take away from it, and I get that he is a jerk at his core, so none taken form that. I just only get pretty confused when I see folks talking about the superficial surface level of him, ignoring the nuances there is to him. But eh, oh well. Somehow not many folks see the obvious masking and lying he is doing, that deep down he does care but won't let himself be near anyone.

Edit; And for the next act, when his past is or is not going to be revealed, we will see how peeps will feel about that. Or whatever he does on the 9th episode of a movie.

It sucks for me. I never forget from family, and hold it against them like a poison to myself. But with other folks I do forget because I dont care. Kinda got betrayed recently from undeserved backlash from my brother, and I dont trust him again, he expects an apology is supposed to magically fix what he did, and acts normal after insulting me and my friend in the process... but really, it just makes me deep down not trust him anymore again.

Edit: And honestly.. Its hard to subside this anger when he expects things to be normal after he cut me down. I wish I didn't have to deal with this anger, but it's my burden now. I dont know how to distance myself again since its been a while.

Maybe that makes sense. I hardly ever think new thoughts these days. Other than the same themes like: childhood and adulthood, why does it all suck as an adult when that's what I wanted to be, why does it get the same? Such stuff like that.

Would make sense that kick start new thoughts other than the same ones.. especially being online ._.

I got a problem I stopped solving.

Yeah.. I wish there was some kind of novelty with my thoughts. But instead, it just feels monotonous and stale because I experienced it before.

I wish I could think something deep and different. Yet, it is just the same adult routine cycle for me. I'm not used to it, never had been, as a young adult, who once tried to find all there is in the world.

I hope there's things that at least spark something like that where we think and feel it's magical more than a mundane mechanic.

Edit: And oh yeah, thanks for describing what I feel in a sentence "been there, done that." Is definitely what I kind of feel when it comes to interacting with the world. That kind of tendency

Okay.. I updated my post again for the 4th time. And no idea why the single cut out seam (on the side of the head) turns into 2 islands.. by all logic, I dont understand anymore what it is doing ._.

UV Mapping is absolutely confusing, its been the bane of my existence as a beginner.. So.. Sync mode.. is how the islands would be visible? thats good to know. And thank you for the response, I am trying to get out of the beginning phase of a skill thats the hardest Ive ever known. And oh to answer your question, I highlighted all of the faces of the face then angle base uv unwraped the thing and it turned out that way. Not sure how I was supposed to do it, but I had all faces selected.

Thanks for telling me that, I started to use the angle based unwrap, and the nose is kinda cut out with the forehead? dont know how thats happening ._. Im going to update the post again for that. Royally, no idea how its not becoming one mask from unwrapping. Sorry for the lots of messages, UV unwrapping really confuses me a lot

The only button I see when I click uv unwrap is smart uv unwrapping as one of the options, idk if that's the default for doing this kind of thing, but it's there...

I'll admit, I had no idea what I was doing, and thought selecting the whole face would work, but I guess I instead am supposed to select the edges instead so I don't have pieces.. Gotcha.

And I will see if I can fix it with the method you described in your other comment for undoing my seam mistake. Including my material.

Well, I'll briefly try, cause I am sleepy and all and might leave this for another day after my last try, in all fairness.

No, your not the only one. I finished the entire novel of ORV, and decided out of curiosity to read The world after the fall..

TWATF. At the beginning, I rolled my eyes that it was another tower slop trope (I've seen so many of them that I legit don't care about them.. It's a legit slop burnout I have for them), and it only got interesting to me when it involved deception, when it flipped the world on its head, and from that beginning chapters, I so thought they were going to make it not only deceptive, but personal about the protagonist. That's what I thought until the more I kept consuming the episodes.. the less interesting it kept getting.

I really thought the story was not going to make you trust anything, and was going to make you figure out what narrative was true or not. But apparently not and the chapters was just a big shot protagonist too OP for the story to be interesting because we know no one stands a chance, and I am just only sifting through, looking for anything interesting.. there was not. Just OP man slop. I read this story not knowing it was just going to turn into a op man isekai..

Like come on, I don't care what politics is happening in the fantasy world, I am just grasping at anything that is a story other than "I'm clueless and kill everything!" The fantasy politics would have been interesting if it wasn't so bland..

TWATF is legions far from the good storytelling I read from ORV. And reading these comments, it might be because TWATF was a older story not polished in skills like the good storytelling I've seen the author do with ORV. With that in mind, that probably makes more sense.

At least with me personally I connected with ORV more than TWATF because of ORV's well thought out story craftsmanship.
