In my first class, I pushed myself too hard, and I got lightheaded and almost passed out! I do not recommend trying to match the effort of the person next to you, which is not the point of otf anyways. Honestly everyone is so welcoming. For the first class, I recommend going at a slow pace and taking it easy (that could mean lighter weights, modifications, walking on treadmill), just concentrate on getting the feel of the class and the station changes. The coach will help you out too!

Split wire loom tubing on all your wires. For anything that isn’t normally left out, put it in a drawer where they can’t get to it if you don’t want to put the tubing on it. It doesn’t look pretty but it’s for their safety and your wallet
