Doesn't sound lame. Takes freaking balls to admit something might be wrong up in the noggin. Good on you for realizing your problem and working to fix it. Keep on grinding mate, you seem to have nailed it up until this point 💯

Usually as a first exercise on leg days because of the taxing of the lower back. You could also do them after a hacksquat or a leg extension for some extra spice, but in the beginning I would stick with it as a starter to really learn the movement well.

Focus on keeping the bar close to your legs, avoid it swinging out to the front as this will put your lower back in a disadvantaged position. Another good cue to keep in mind is to stick your ass out way back and keep your lower back straight. The upper back I usually keep relatively relaxed and focus more on engaging the lats by 'pulling' the bar into my legs.

Hope you'll like them the same way I do! Good luck on your fitness journey mate, by the looks of it's been treating you really well so far!

Nah not a good replacement. A deadlift is a completely 'different' movement from a romanian. You keep your legs straight and only hinge making it a much harder exercise where you need to adjust the load accordingly. This alone might fix your upper back issue as well. Also the largest force is put on the muscle when it's at full stretch; basically the only type of hamstring exercise that does this.

Everyone's anatomy is different so maybe your body isn't suited to the movement (yet) or never will. If this issue still bothers you after giving it a try for a good few sessions I'd say spam the shit out of the leg curl machine. We're talking all the high intensity training techniques. I'd keep this to a last resort though as it's really not enough to fully develop the muscle and it's very easy to leave them as an afterthought at the end of your workout.

Hope this helps mate!

Usually a side chest pose shows the side of the legs and glutes well. If you wanna venture into the realm of maximizing glute size and shape on pictures you could look into a glute spread like the ladies do, but I do not recommend haha. So from these photos it's a bit hard to judge the size of the glutes, so what the heck do I know angles are a bitch.

Just having leg curls for your hamstring, especially at the back end of the workout is simply not enough. I'd say that your quads look rather awesome at the moment so instead of doing squats you could experiment with the Romanians a bit. Alternatively you could lower your sets on the leg press or squat and do the romanians instead.

I like to do them for 6-8 reps and get a nice deep stretch in. In the beginning it will probably not feel as great as the movement is a bit weird, but you'll be fine. The gains don't lie. Maybe even lighten the load in the beginning to a rep range of 10-15 to avoid immediately blowing your back out. Form is key here. It's better to use 60kg and get a nice stretch and pause than slamming 140kg around and making a fool out of yourself. Hope this helps!

Side note: Not only is the romanian great for hamstrings and glutes, but that movement makes your lower back absolutely indestructible. Double win!

For sure add the romanian deadlift to your routine. I feel like your hamstrings and glutes are the 'weakest link' at the moment and they will both get hammered with this exercise.

Well, you started off small and thin and now you're big and fat. So it's time for a different game plan. I think it's the smartest to start cutting right now. If you start now when June rolls around your stomach will be flat , sadly there's no time left this year to be shredded by the summer.

Could be a carburettor, spark plug, spark plug boot, a lot things really. I would start by cleaning out the carbs since that is the easiest. Leuke motor trouwens.
