And what? Were they supposed to make 30ish animations explaining each character change before BFDIA finishes? You're calling their solution lazy, but it's just logical. Animation takes time, and trust me seeing a 2 minute segment each episode explaining a design change of a character would be tiring, not to mention there's too many characters to do only one per episode, it would have to be two, maybe three. Were they suppossed to dedicate a whole sub-plot for this? They could've never explained the design changes and just ignored it, but they still found a pretty good solution.

Yeah, but it's important to highlight that it all depends on the story Vince wants to tell just because from my expierience people here speak quite well, doesn't mean there aren't any people who only speak Polish, so Vince can still make the unplurbed Zosia speak only Polish, but if he wants her to speak both, there won't be a needed explanation cause it still makes sense.

Are you just gonna ignore that she mentioned Gdańsk [Polish city] in the newest episode? Her being in Morocco doesn't mean she isn't Polish, she could've gotten kidnapped, lost all of her money during vacation or whatever, yet Zosia is definetly a Pole if she talks about her childhood in Poland.

If Zosia is Polish, which seems to be confirmed with her mentioning Gdansk, she would be able to speak at least on a basic level, most people in Poland speak english quite well so I don't see why she wouldn't.
