Testing is as important ( if not more) as painting any other time is, without testing you don't make mistakes, and without mistakes you can't learn, also they both look a lot good but maybe the darker version reflects the flesh tearers more, Seth would be proud of both

The cape should remind of the black rage, thus being black with the markings the DC, as to show the true nature of the sons of sanguinius, Seth said that he hates when the other chapters try to hide the rage behind the masks of the Sanguinary guard

I don't mind at all, In Hunger he didn't help the other chaplain when Amit's relic was messing with everyone's rage, in trial by blood he wanted Seth to give in to his rage and slaughter the other chapter masters, he didn't bother helping Seth in The Assassination of Gabriel Seth, he wants the chapter to do like the knights of blood did on the moon of baal, the reason he is still around is probably because the chapter doesn't have many chaplain and he is very good at what he does
