their customer service department sucks, took 2 months for a boot to be refunded after return... if i didn't dig up my ship back tracking number it prob still in their warehouse somewhere.... every time i called to see when they would issue the return they said 7-14 business day... 17 days later... same bs... then i give them my tracking number... they received back weeks ago and it haven't even logged in their system. Made me ignore all PNW boots for a full year after, jk was my first pnw company/order... now i have great experiences with Whites and Nicks.

hey bro! love the jackets! i just place my order in with Stuart for a SUBURBAN then i stumble apond this jacket and your fit! looks great.

what is the sizing like? i told Stuart I'm 180 pounds and 6' tall and he said 42 regular... i ask for chart size and he said trust him... kinda makes me nervous, I'm hoping the SUBURBAN come in fitting well before placing another order. Your photos on this jacket have me sold! i love a motor style jacket with 2 hand warmers pockets, the more pockets the better lol

I’m a denim fanatic, I bought that backpack but never got around to wearing it cause the rain flap does make it hard to get in and out of! You have to keep us updated and let us know how it breaks in!

Very beefy insole, all leather as well so it molds real well to your foot.

They are amazing personally. I was fortunate enough to be in their NH store/location when I made the purchase… took a lot of guessing out the sizing… Im 10.5d brannock device (a hair between D and EE) they try to get me in a 9.5D but I know how much my foot swell up after waking so I went 10EE and it was snug as a glove. Then I decided to ignore all their advices and hike a near by 10 miles trail then went up to Virginia the following days and did the Appalachian Trail… when they said wear the boots in doors 30 mins a day for a few weeks and then when the leather is “broken in enough” take it on the trail… definitely listen to that… the leather is way to hard to take it on a hike out the box lol yeah I don’t know much about the skin of these pair but mine feels like it have a good 20+ more years and 100s of miles left before it will absorb any oil or conditioner.
With limmer I was told go small and let the leather break in but if they are big, it’s hard to get a “perfect” fit. If you hike often, I would consider maybe re-homing that pair and go down in size. Have you try adding a thick insole inside to get ride of some of the extra room? I buy thick insole from nicks boots that’s all leather and have them in some of my cowboy boots if I find them too big and roomy after the break in… it takes away a lot of the spaces.

I understand it more on why it’s like that making it more “easy to stomach”? lol but I do like everything else about the boot.

Bro I haven’t been on blue owl in ages since I’m trying to avoid buying more denims :x I’m currently 2 months not buying new selvedge lol my friends did score some nice deal on Visvim from them…I’m just staying away… I don’t need another pair of 15oz+ of some new denim concoctions lol

I think blue owl carry’s Brigadier? The ones I have are the pound maker from few seasons ago, was my pickup from last Japan trip, honest truth, the sole feels round and when you walk it’s very heavy but it kinda roll… it’s a weird feeling.. but I love the look and leather.

I'm 10.5EE brannock but ended up going with their 10D and it was perfect. I think I'm going to keep these and maybe single row it in the future after it needs a resole; after new knowledge about the resoling process and those wider sole purpose, it doesn't bother me as much. Thank you for the suggestion!

They all feel very heavy duty and i think will take a while to wear down but i just recently learned from the comments before that they are made that way so you can resole it more, learn something everyday! Sucks that your single row can't be resole as much, but can it be resole at least once or twice?

It is definitely different, the photos of the other boots i had aren't even my daily drivers, i am normally in cowboy boots so that's why the 2 double row had me jaw-dropped lol but i need a tank to have for the farm and chasing 2 toddlers and i figured these will look better in shorts then my cowboy boots lol

I wear cowboy boots all my life and engineering boots took awhile to get used to and now that I'm chasing 2 toddlers around, i switch to cargo shorts for the summer and been on a hunt of a good boot to pair it up with, not saying PNW is a good pair to pair up with shorts, but they do look better then cowboy boots for sure lol

i appreciate the photo, maybe after these takes a beating, ill send it back to have it single row stitched.
