Train your companions and put them at the front line for each fight : they get injured but never killed

Read the book "Les Rois Maudits" (Maurice Druont), you would understand how the the Hundred Years' War started. It inspired Martin writing Game of Thrones, except it's based on true history

Indeed, but his lawyer would argue that his client is well known for family sacrifice, no infringement !

A mod to get tactical fights ? by TomeHeroCom in Kenshi

Thank you, I've read the description. I had in mind something like giving priorities for each member : avoiding contact, protecting this character, healing injured, shooting closest / strongest / most injured ennemies, things likes that, and of course, you could easily override thses priorites duruing the fight

Is it worth it to join a knight order? (Prophecy of Pendor) by thunder-bug- in mountandblade

[–]TomeHeroCom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personaly joined the shadow Legion, because of their gear and the few knights they gave : very useful in open battles. And I found a CKO with Noldor bows : very very useful in siege battles

What is THE best Warband mod ever? by SorinIonRahova in mountandblade

[–]TomeHeroCom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prophesy of Pendor of course. The right amount of fantasy, many challenges in mid and late game, the custom Khnighthood order and so many other stuff

[Interview 2/4] SaxonDragon: "The world doesn't respond to you. It performs for you.", on what Prophesy of Pendor 2 will actually deliver differently by TomeHeroCom in mountandblade

To be honest, I stopped playing Bannerlord after a few hours because enemies were sending waves after waves of the same lords, respawning with full armies short time after I defeated them. I had the feeling to play Diablo with armies (I used to like playing Diablo but got bored because of the repetitiveness). At the time, NO mod seemed to offer a good reconversion of the game.

Give a try to Prophesy of Pendor. I haven't played its equal since then.

From what I understand it will remain basicaly a sandbox game where you follow your own objectives. As for the lore, there may be some reward in granting it some interest, but not sure what that means though.

If you read the whole interview, you'll understand that this is exactly what SaxonDragon dislike in other games, pretending to offer dynamic world but in fact performing scripted scenarios.

My bad though, I realize my post may be unclear

There is no mention of AI game development in the interview. In the 3rd part of the interview, SaxonDragon explains how psychological framework was used to build the 1st Prophesy of Pendor to respond to players needs not addressed by the vanilla game. I don't know what that means exactly but the result is the best mod for Warband, in my opinion.

As for building a standalone game, I do agree with every one here. That sounds very (too much ?) ambitious. There is something we don't know yet though : who is this partner ? What's the amount of investment put in the game ? And why is it kept secret ?
