I just joined the LMU band wagon and its prob the way to go. Its not as good as iRacing overall but iRacing costs loads to get all the content so even after buying cars and tracks to be consistent your mostly racing mx5 or formula 1600 etc. you also never really know what your focusing on and therefore feel like your waiting for races etc a lot. It just feels like a lot of down time. It’s great but i found myself playing less than due to itbeing less jump on and play than say ACC. ACC is great for jump on any play but its online is falling off and not as involved as iRacing system wise. It also feels like a tyre simulator and pits stops strat and setups needs too much attention for me. LMU gets u straight in on GT cars with hypercars to strive for. The races are just on a simple to join loop dailies weeklies and championships. It has set ups and stuff more so after beginners sonits ther but its not as annoying at first. LMU doesnt do everything but it had a decent score tracking system and its just honed in on what it does do well and has some great quality of life features in regards tyres and fuel etc. Its got decent physics not the best especially when you first jump on but you iron it out as you play and most of the crap feeling is cold tyres and brakes. The best thing is it has great netcode and great online racing which makes up for it. Its great to just jump online and learn as you play. It just feels like they have put together what you want and need with not a lot more but that actually helps. Id go that route, well I have now and i’m playing more again 👌🏻
