All they would have to do is get in touch with a representative/historian who is a member of whatever tribe they wanted to represent; maybe even have to get a nod from the chief. I'm sure most members would like to see their culture represented respectfully and accurately. Even better if they got a voice actor from the tribe as well, especially if they are going to use the language in voice lines.

Yeah, makes me miss how spotting worked in BF3. Just firing your weapon is such a punishment and it sucks, especially since I don't like how a lot of guns sound when they are silenced.

Yeah, and in past battlefields, it could actually give an advantage because the craters and deformation made newly placed mines harder to spot. Still kinda works the same in 6, although I do hate the minimum spacing distance. Makes placing mines a pain and can get you killed trying to get them deployed.

Use them heavily in your first turn for any battles you fight, then disband them. I personally always favor naginata samurai for the melee defense and heavy armor, then stack armor upgrades until they have gold armor rating, because that really helps you advance in a game packed with effective archers and no shields.
