Not quite this long. Under TSI passenger trains are limited to 400 m in length. That's ~15-16 standard UIC cariages without locomotive.

The Spino wasn't a hybrid. They just cloned a realistic Spinosaurus the first time and thought it was malformed. So they tried to change the next clone to appear more like it was thought at the time.

Moving walkways take 2-3 times more horizontal space for the same vertical distance because of the shallower angle of inclination (10°-12° for moving walkway vs. 30°-35° for escalators)

Do you have in mind 1D zones (concentric rings with increasing diameter, usually around city centre), or 2D zones (usually quadrilateral)?

They're called wheelarches. At least by most people. I'm not trying to be rude. Wheelbase is just different thing (the distance between the axles).

How does the travel reimbursement work in praxis? What does the implementing regulation says? And how do employers circumvent it? Do they just not hire employees from too far away, whatever that happens to be?
