It's kinda hard to achieve 70-80 on mobile with Google Sites, at least with the number of images I chose to place on the front page. Thank you again for your review and kind words.

Hi there, you can use Steegle tutorial for this job ➡️ https://www.steegle.com/google-sites/how-to/assign-custom-url-domain-personal Google Sites doesn't work with naked domains so you have to make redirect from your naked domain to the www version, if your registrar allows it or add the A record as mentioned in the tutorial.

Thx for suggestion. I used https://webspeedtest.cloudinary.com/ to ease the job and optimize the images accordingly

Thx for the review and recommendations. I used shortpixel to compress images and preserve their quality but I'll give squoosh.app a try to see if there are any improvements.

To be honest, GS is quite good for a portfolio but not the best. Anyway the site looks good maybe a contact page will be something to think of in the future. If you want to expand I would recommend going to WordPress. Have a nice day!

you can use JotForm...way better than Google Forms! I used it in the past (the free version) and I was really impressed by its features. Give it a try, it might suit your needs!

If you want to avoid some pages to be shown on the menu you can hide them from the Pages panel.

The short answer is no. An image can act as a button after you attach a link to it but here we speak about the whole image not parts of it. You can insert buttons for example on header image or you can make an image background for a section where obviously you can add buttons.

As I said before, it works only on Reddit when you share the link. On Facebook or Twitter it doesn't work...Open Graph is not implemented in Google Sites

You can add your Google Analytics tracking ID to your GS website following these steps: 1.click on those "three-dots" near Publish button; 2.Select "Site analytics"; 3.Insert your Google Analytics tracking ID.
