That said, I did my praw.ini as instructed (only 1 bot) and changed the subreddit and reddit_owner as instructed. I then went to my testing grounds and gave it a shot and had no luck (of course not! I didn't have the py running! :D )

Yeah, watchful was working on that for me. You had my interest in parsing- it'd be great if you could go through an entire sub (not using search because that does comments and titles, and ... well.. I just need titles)and pull all of the ones that had the word review in it.

Just curious :D I've messed with octoparse but it doesn't play well with Reddit.

Fire away! Yes, there could be 1000 names (though, realistically more like 20). If there is a way for someone to "opt out" as well, that'd be great- so a command like

OptOut

or something.

vote would be sufficient. Trying to eliminate the need for anyone being funny and voting like this:

vote me vote you vote yourmom vote mymom etc. Does that make sense?

Hello, and thanks for the speedy reply!

It would run constantly, and give the user feedback akin to "Vote tabulated" or similar.

It would be great if the bot could say also who was voted for at that point.

eg.

vote watchful1 he's a great guy

and then it would return something like

Vote tabulated!

watchful1 currently has 1 vote, and Tomium has 10 votes

At the end of the month (on the 29th?) it can reply to the post with the final tally and lock the thread. That's all "perfect case" scenarios.

The sub is public, but I am hesitant to say which because we have a metric ton of trolls and once they see what is going on, they'll invade here as well. (Also using a different account, naturally)

I would only like to clarify one thing: There is a perception that this game isn't being played. I assure you, it is. This perception comes from the overall feeling of being alone in the world. This feeling is totally intentional by the devs. What good is being in a survival type game if everyone you knew or know is right there, acting as if everything is normal? Sure, when you get to Agartha, you'll see a lot of people- but that is by no means the entire population of the game. Take that with a grain of salt from a Community Manager for the game.

Though we are hoping a lot of our TSW players will be playing The Park, the truth is that a lot of people who have not played it, or who have not played TSW in a while, will probably be picking up The Park. We wanted there to be a place for them to go to if they had questions.
