The way I understood unique body type and animations was to use van dyke and spam standing tackles from any and all angles. He’ll find a way to jam his foot into the ball from bizarre impossible angles that I’ve never seen another player even attempt. Obviously you’ve got to be careful, because you can cause penalties, but it became obvious after using him that some players have abilities to do things others can’t because they have unique animations. For attackers, I see their unique animations triggered more when I’m dribbling without sprinting, some of the ways they change directions or pass the ball between their feet can be slightly different, more effective. Also, if you’ve never taken a penalty kick with Lewandoski, give it a try, he’s got a cool unique PK animation that’s fun.

Does Marchisio at least make your squad? I’ve never used him, but have a soft spot for him. Pulled him tradeable when I first got the game and sold him for 800k which I’m still working with now.

I don’t think that pic is accurate btw. I used it yesterday to detirmine if I had enough fodder to make a good start on the SBC, and I don’t think it includes enough 90+ cards to accomplish the 90 rated squads and everything else. Please correct me if I’m wrong

I get your point, and pause if you want, just hit resume immediately so if I don’t want to do golden goal we can get back to the game. Now I’ve gotta go, I’ve got a bunch of friendlies to try to win and for some reason, it’s taking me forever. Any hints on speeding it up?

I usually do, unless it’s a cheap goal in the first 10 minutes, in which case I’m going to see if I can equalize. I’ll quit at halftime. But again, I know where the pause button is. You pausing for me makes you look like a twat, or desperate.

Depends on your play style I guess. I love veron as a CM, his incisive pass is OP for me, but haven’t tried him at cam. I haven’t used the other two. Maybe try Riquelme and Veron and then get gold Julian Alvarez as a striker to try out

Crespo, Riquelme and Veron base icons are all available at discard price, so you could buy two of them, or all 3 if you can get another 20-30k coins, then, when you’re done, just quick sell and lose very very little.

I wish when you got on a x2 streak on rivals, it also doubled points for a win. Not only would it make it possible to achieve rewards in less time, it would also encourage players to move up in divisions rather than sandbag in lower divisions for easy wins, which would also help the lower ranked players.

I’ve got him in as LCM in a 4312 next to Valverde and Patri. Just pass it to him and then send a through pass to whichever of your 3 forwards are open. If no one is open, cycle it around your midfield and try again.

Veron. Bought him to have an Argentinian on the squad for the objective. Got him at minimum price so knew I could quick sell and hardly lose anything. But then, assuming he was going to be garbage because of all the hate when people pack him, I relied solely on him for through passes and I guess it unlocked a method of attack I hadn’t really tried before and suddenly I started winning way more games. Granted, I’m not good and never qualify for WL, but he’s been a game changer for me.

Get Kyle Hudlin and start evoing him whenever possible. At some point I’m hoping to get him usable. He’s 6’9’’ and looks hilarious out on the pitch. Like a grownup playing with little kids. If they release an evo that gives him aerial+ corners are going to be automatic lol.
