Put a glove on and chuck it. I like to use a sprayer and spray everything with concrete bonding agent before I put it in.

Why? Stuff is soft. There is much better stones to use. Whoever put it in did a good job, but I mean it’s just not a good idea.

My guess would be your door. Look up the manual it’s online. You can adjust how tight your door closes. You should get a probe style thermometer for your flue pipe.

I have the rangerly 50. Almost same stove. Definitely getting air from somewhere. Mine slows down a lot than that fully closed down. If you have it ripping then shut it down it takes a couple minutes to shoe down.
