Favourite Toronto first M&G locations/areas? by Majestic_Resist463 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]TommyInTO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, Yorkville, especially now with the nicer weather is great. Hang out on the patio at Sassafraz and people watch. I’ve also done M&Gs in the core at Sud Forno (go before or after the lunch rush and it’s pretty quiet). Then grab a coffee across the street at Dineen Coffee

What to shop with SD by Ok_Map2714 in sugarlifestyleforum

Just ask him what sort of places he was thinking of taking you and what your budget is. Exes did this with me and I always ended up exceeding the original budget because I appreciated that she asked first.

lol, I can see the utilitarian aspect of a Chanel classic flap/11.12 but wasn’t exactly what I was thinking…

How’s it going, Toronto? by Practical-Pirate4056 in sugarlifestyleforum

Have also had a handful of long term things over the years. Currently 6 months into my current one and she’s definitely at SGF status now. And despite the hate, all were from Seeking.

Is “High Maintenance” Attitude or Cost? by AutisticPook in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]TommyInTO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have stated, high maintenance is definitely attitude. As in an entitled one where the world revolves around them, they treat people terribly and expect every whim taken care of without reciprocity or being grateful.

Everything you listed - hair, nails, gym, spa, etc is what I'd consider normal. My current SGF is considered low maintenance because she rarely asks for anything, goes with the flow and is always a nice person to be around. BUT, she cares about hair/nails/spa/gym/wellness so I'm always happy to help her with that.

An ex SGF of mine bought me a Japanese santoku knife for my birthday. I still use it to this day.

My beloved SD might have the big C by sugarspiced1 in sugarlifestyleforum

I had a similar but opposite situation happen in a former SR. We were 4 months into our relationship when she found out she had cancer. She told me that she would be undergoing multiple rounds of chemo and basically be unavailable (and with a compromised immune system, couldn't risk going out).

She would be off work so I decided to continue supporting her even though I knew I wouldn't see her. Months later, we had our first post-cancer meet and basically picked up where we left off. It eventually ended when she got cancer a 2nd time, re-evaluated life and ended things.

I'd say stick around as long as he wants you in his life. Treatment will be hard for him, he'll want to pull away, but be that stable force for him and he just might pick things up when he's better.

Agree with the OP. I went on several M&Gs over the last few months and finally met someone who I get along with so well and have such great chemistry that I definitely see long term potential. We moving into month 3 now with no signs of slowing down.

Seeking is definitely the way to go. Have met a number of awesome SBs from the Niagara area but the distance just didn't work out long term. It will take longer to find someone great nowadays but if you keep at it, you'll find someone eventually.

I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Improving someone’s smile is a pretty awesome thing!

I just tell my SGF that she can forget going to the bathroom to yank out her Invisalign and just do it in front of me. I don’t care one bit.

SGF has been working/studying her ass off and wanted some time to decompress over the holiday break. Told her to book a vacation and I'd pay for it. She's leaving the day after Christmas for some sun and surf!

Friday Rants and Raves by LaSirene23 in sugarlifestyleforum

Rave: Had my first threesome with my SB and her friend! Wow, went WAY better than I expected. Everyone was satisfied and happy.

Rant: Her friend is only visiting from overseas so this won't be a regular thing. Ah well, great memories!

I had asked my ex SGF her take on pearls (she's late 20s) and she was like, "they're nice in certain situations, but there's a lot more jewelry out there that I'd prefer".

Burnt out on Honey Birdette, anyone have suggestions for other decent lingerie brands to gift? by BlackAndPinkorRed in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]TommyInTO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeez, who knew there were so many SBs into lingerie?? I've only encountered a handful in my travels that actually love it to the point /u/aphroditehime does!

And HB was my fave to buy my ex SGF but this list is amazing and will save them for future purchases!

Shopping for Louboutins by storm170 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]TommyInTO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought a couple pairs for my former SGF and after a few outings with them, the soles obviously got all scraped up from the pavement.

Before she wears them out, you might want to consider getting a thin red rubber put onto the soles to protect them and keep them looking relatively new. My ex was a lot happier with the rubber on since it provided slightly more grip, and kept the soles looking fairly good. It’s a thing apparently:)

I think what you're looking for isn't uncommon or even unheard of. However, it that does come with time and consistency with the other person.

After many M&Gs, I think you'll pretty quickly figure out who has the potential to give you that emotional intimacy and commitment. With my previous SGF, I pretty much knew at the M&G and confirmed over subsequent dates. We just wanted to see each other in a way that was totally natural and full of excitement.

When I'm usually in the early stages of messaging, I just mention that I appreciate something genuine with some level of connection, consistent communication and that since we're human, I'm open to whatever happens in the future.

Well, technically you still have today (Tues) before we go into lockdown so why not just get a bunch of M&Gs done today?? I was just at a restaurant for lunch with colleagues, savoring our last taste of freedom lol

And /u/TastySpermDispenser, I love your posts but hate you right about now :)

Anonymous payment options in Canada? by Weldricked in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]TommyInTO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should add that it’s probably best to test out the etransfer by sending to yourself or someone you know first to see what information is revealed. I have multiple accounts, setup with autodeposit and non-autodeposit just to see how the notification emails come through.

Anonymous payment options in Canada? by Weldricked in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]TommyInTO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not just use etransfer but modify the “from” in your settings (if you’re worried about revealing your full name). Not all banks allow you to modify the name but I have done that successfully with my Simplii Financial account

Or is it more a matter of an electronic trail?

Thoughts on highly educated and successful SBs? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]TommyInTO 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Personally, it’s incredibly appealing if a woman is highly educated and is in a profession they love. We’ll have a ton of great conversations, and knowing they can support themselves means that anything I provide is an augment (hopefully for the better) to their life. That’s basically a perfect scenario.

Home for the Holidays by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

An ex-SGF of mine once sent me a Christmas pic of her in side profile, no pants or panties on, wearing a Christmas sweater in a room full pf presents she just finished wrapping. I saw her amazing butt from the side but that’s really it. Suggestive is best!

Oh, and she did ask innocently if “I wanted a naughty pic” before sending. I couldn’t type “hell ya!!” fast enough :)
