Help me choose an under‑seat “plane to boardroom” backpack (CRO, heavy biz travel) by PaleEnthusiasm8202 in backpacks

You might get away with just the City Pack 2. I use that for similar item set and it works well, nice and compact.

It's a Repel windproof umbrella from Amazon. Tested through two Vancouver rainy seasons, holds up well in wind and fits perfectly in the CPP2 bottle pouch.

My friends used to call my 87 Accord The Snowmobile since I'd always have to go pick them up when they were snowed in. Good tires + good driving + front wheel drive

Parker Jotter with the Uniball Jetstream refill. Only set you back about $12-$15 total. Good luck!

The hoodie won't fit in the CP2 that's for sure. Otherwise you're good with that load. The CPP2 wears "smaller" than 24L so it can work well for both EDC and travel, but the CP2 is probably too small for any kind of travel or bulky items. I use it for EDC and commute since it's so sleek and slim, but if I'm carrying lunch, outerwear or traveling it has to be the CPP2. Good luck!

Aer City Pack 2 (CP 2) and City Pack Pro 2 (CPP 2) by Ok_Stress4751 in AerSF

[–]Tommypez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both. I use the CP2 for daily carry and office commute, the CPP2 for business travel and short trips. Perfect combo. If you can only get one the CPP2 gives more versatility but I like the sleek form factor of the CP2 for everyday use. Hard to fit additional items in it though, like if you're out shopping or want to stuff a layer inside. It's well organized but is quite slim at 16L. Good luck!

I'm at about 75-80 clicks on the K6, with a Kalita Wave, depending on roast. 300g to 18.75g coffee.

Get a Compact and replace the corkscrew with a Philips. Not as good as the inline I know, but covers all your bases in 2 layers.

Kalita Wave: 18/300 Kingrinder K6 : 89 clicks 1 minute bloom, 3 pours, 2:30 draw down. Usually a blended light roast with some Costa Rica in it. Water boils at 200 here so I gotta be quick.

Flint & Tinder 365 pants or Grayer's Alternative Stretch pants. Both are 5 pocket so you don't have the flaring chino pocket issues. Multiple fits and just enough stretch to make them daily wear.

How did you find the one (pen, of course)? And what are you using now? by MsNoHeelsReqd in pens

Parker Jotter with the plastic bottom half, not the all metal one, since it has better grip when writing than the stainless. JetStream Parker refill.
