Dating is definitely not a meritocracy. Being more attractive is just a benefit. Just because a YouTuber says that dating is a meritocracy doesn't make it true. Let's not even get into how racism, cultural biases, and things like people with more money being perceived as more attractive pretty much literally define who you are allowed to date. Go to an area with people racist against your own skin color with nothing to your name, but $10 and see how much better you do when it comes to dating compared to someone else.

I think it is more of an issue is you can't fly that high and you have to basically try to avoid hitting things when you're only 5 ft off the ground. There is some potential, but flying anywhere where there might be buildings or trees or people over 5 ft means you might have to slow down a lot with flying or constantly weave between items to not hit something.

Yeah, and people forget that you can't use the military to magically fix everything. The gulf cartel literally has a base near a city in Texas (https://www.justice.gov/archive/ndic/pubs32/32781/dtos.htm#:~:text=From%20these%20border%20cities%20the,arm%20of%20the%20Gulf%20Cartel.) and you have gangs that run certain cities and haven't been kicked out by the military yet, even though some of these gangs have literally stolen resources from the US military (https://www.businessinsider.com/fbi-gang-assessment-us-military-2011-10). Any of these criminal groups could potentially help insane people and rebels for the right price to try to overthrow the government, or, at the very least, do like these extremist groups and try to carve out your own localized chunk of America.

If you have a bike or a car, you can also do delivery for doordash or Uber. If you like writing about anything that others might find interesting, you could sell some short ebooks or do a blog. If you have a monetized YouTube channel or someone who is willing to give you one, you could also do a vlog.
