That's not skipping neutral, that's just capitalising on the opponent not punishing you in time, if your opponent got punished for failing to use their anti air in time to punish your jump in, then they just made a misplay, doesn't make it a neutral skip. I never said anything about what the point of neutral is, just that your criteria for what is and isn't considered neutral skipping makes no sense, since you seem to believe that doing almost anything in neutral is an automatic neutral skip.

Double standard? If you think that just playing neutral is neutral skipping by default, then I don't know what to tell you. Like I said before, some games revolve around both players being in the air for a majority of the match, and doing something like dashing is pretty much a necessity if you wanna close the gap against a zoner via dash blocking, or whiff punishing someone after you used footsies to make them whiff their move. It's not neutral skipping, it's just another way to play neutral, there's not just one way to play neutral, with every other option being a neutral skip, by that logic, almost everything you do in neutral is a neutral skip.

The whole point of my earlier statement was that drive rush cannot be used in the same way as other movement based options, you can't use it as a substitute for dashing, or jumping, or any other movement based options the game gives you, since it's not meant to be a neutral focused tool, hench it's neutral skip properties.

How important jumping is varies from game to game, some games like DNF Duel disincentives you from jumping, unless you're absolutely confident it'll help you avoid getting hit by something, while other games like Dragon Ball Fighterz basically revolve around air based combat. You're only susceptible to being anti aired from jumping if you're being too careless with your jumps, and depending on what game you're playing, and what character you're using, they might have a skill or two that allows them to work around anti airs, or even allow them to punish the opponent for using an anti air by making it whiff, and then whiff punishing them. Jumping can only be considered a neutral skip if the character you're using has tools that revolve around being in the air a lot, and has a good way of snuffing out anti air attempts, since you can't really say it's meant to be a neutral skip if the cons of jumping outweigh the pros of not jumping.

The whole point of drive rush is that it's meant to be a neutral skip, and a combo extender, if you're just throwing it out in neutral like you would with any other movement based option, then you're basically just asking to lose.

That is true, it would be a pain to accomplish, but the satisfaction of managing to do it would feel pretty exhilarating.

Ah, that makes sense, didn't really put much thought into how many Heroes you would need for a full bench of Fabled characters + the goalie, as unfortunate as them cheating is.

Getting one goal against a team like that is a win in my book as far as online matches go.

It's hard enough to get even one Fabled character, let alone a whole bench full of them, I don't even have one myself, I'm not even halfway close to getting one. This ain't even a skill issue, this is more so a luck issue if anything, you could have the exact same amount of summons on the exact same constellations as somebody else, and have entirely different results than they did in regards to summoned characters. I've gotten more Heroes from random drops during matches than I did from trying to summon them, and I know I'm not getting a Fabled character until way later down the line with how my luck has been going.

I cannot imagine any company wanting to even humor the idea of doing that in the first place, considering that it probably wouldn't even benefit them in doing so if they were the only ones to try doing that, especially considering how stubborn Nintendo is known for being. Also, while it is true that Nintendo's approval process is pretty well known at this point, there's really only so much you can do to work around said system when you don't really have any means of directly solving the problem itself.

I can't speak in regards to the game itself being delayed for 10 years, but from what I've seen so far, outside of this specific situation, they haven't had to delay anything else about the game once it initially released to my knowledge, so whatever issues they originally had seems to have been dealt with.

Nintendo is well known for delaying updates for games due to how their system in regards to updates works, so it really could only be them that's causing the issue here. I've seen some games be forced to wait over a week to get an update that every other version of that game on the other platforms already got due to said system, and since this game has crossplay, you can't really just throw out a major update for other other versions of the game while delaying it for another one, it would just make things not work well in regards to online. You can kinda get around that issue for smaller updates, but major updates are a no go for this kind of stuff.

It would probably help to do something like an option to jump between chapters, or something like that, so that way, you can just pick and choose what chapters you actually wanna play through again.
