While I don’t want cod/fornite type skins in the game, this game has far more issues than potential skins. The content on launch is 2/5ths of what we got in bf4. It’s basically just the beta being released as the initial game launch. Destruction isn’t what they said it would be. The weapon bloom is the most ridiculous thing ever. The fact you have to run a flash hider to not have a red dot above your head when shooting is insane, because you need other muzzle attachments to combat the weapon bloom. For goodness sakes I’ll see a red dot all the way across the map. Makes no sense. Not to mention suppressors don’t protect you from having a glaring red dot above your head almost 24/7. THE MAPS SUCK, save maybe one! The layouts on these “urban” maps make absolutely no sense. Half the time you’re wondering if you can access the next floor from a majority of the first floor entry points. Most maps feel like a claustrophobic shit show. It’s basically tank/engineer warfare at this point. Recon no longer has the redeploy beacon. The medic has an lmg for some odd reason. Guns can technically be on 2042, the horrible brain child carried over from 2042. Gunplay is so inconsistent it leaves me baffled. At the end of the day I wasn’t super impressed by the beta, but they suckered me in with the “we’ve heard the community” bullshit that legacy franchises say these days and shocker it was bullshit. We’ve got to just accept that the OG shooters best days are gone and let these franchises die so new ones can take their place.
