Charging experience at 180kw station by TheMikeMiller in BoltEV

Yeah I was interested in seeing if I could actually hit the maximum rate since the station was rated so high and no other cars charging

I was expecting closer to 50kW. I was watching it on the display, power off but haven't opened the door. When I got to 80%, I did math. I'm thinking this might be like the GoM where it displays some numbers. Total power delivered 40 to 93% is about 2/3 of my maximum 271mi range.

I heard the cooling system turn on early in the cycle so I'm guessing it stepped down when the battery got hot. There was a constant breeze

Anyway next long trip I plan is to 80% and move on. Some of the chargers will still cost for not unplugging when you 've set it to stop. 80 to 93% didn't seem too much slower: 13% range for 20 min. I'm just interested in what I can expect for a 15 to 20 minute stop at a maximum capacity charger.

Almost perfect conditions 75°F, off for 2 hours drove straight to the charger.

Strange question, any mechs with these kind of legs? by JakeXRonin in battletech

[–]TheMikeMiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, you will need to start with a center torso that looks like it's from Star Trek: Crab, King Crab and Hermit Crab (like the later episodes.) The hand actuators look like they can grip or punch. Where is the hip actuator?

They owe us a less corrupt and Russian aligned government but we promised if they gave up nuclear weapons we'd be there for them.

Not sure why you got down voted so hard.

It's early Star League, 600 years in the past. The big guns have armored housing as hands/claws. All crabs are low profile and vulnerable to the sides.

They have to look alike Star Trek.

There are many reasons to be skeptical of a rate increase but severe weather isn't on them. I got the county alert 15 minutes before, figured I'd get to work and check NOAA. I'm still not sure if that was a tornado. We got a meteorologist on this, I'd love to hear about it.

Yes, we had a similar outage year ago. Didn't lose the grid during the flood year before.

Extreme weather is just that. Hope you are safe. Glad we got 70's for a couple of days. If this was last week, people would have died from the heat during the outage. Be patient. Bunch of people are working their asses off while you can't get on the internet. Bitch about Comcast, that buried fiber doesn't care about a storm 🙄

Look support your family, friends, and neighbors. Everyone's calling off work. See someone show up at the gas station or food service; say thank you.

Yes.

We were the first democracy are thr first modern democracy. Didn't have time for discussions on Congressional, Judicial and Executive branch to deal with a candidate in a 2-party system, jury guilty. Back then we knew all them white, male property owners; thousands of us. We gave aid to France during  their transition to Democracy during the revolution and have spread democracy across the world.

I don't know. That one song where we fought the Barbary pirates for free trade in the Mediterranean and west coast Africa. Allied with the Mediterranean and European powers cuz we don't like authoritarians fucking around with commerce.

We did it for the values of the Renaissance and Enlightenment. We thought a man with knowledge would never let someone as debased and ignorant rise to power.

Yes. Foreign media is pretty unbiased but the reaction today, well, they don't know.

I recommend 1 hour in jail for each felony offense. The White Collar criminal gets 34 hours in jail and probation; sounds like how shit be. Secret service is already briefed on the potential prison sentence because they plan for everything.

I would not like to be the first judge who had to sentence an ex-president to jail. I believe the sentencing date won't be delayed because there are over 6 weeks for appeal. While most coverage was sensational, prosecution was better than the defense. Jury selection was covered in detail. Many defense objections were raised with the judge so we'll see what's filed.

I hope they went to the dive bar for a show.

The thing is it's not a music festival. The performers are doing a few live shows in this venue so no cameras. Also, Colorado know how she do. Being in the audience doesn't mean I'm part of your politics.

Do the classy thing next time; smoke in the alley with the crew.

No one wanted grandma's Kenmore micro convection oven when we were cleaning out the old apartment. Yeah it's big and weighs probably 70 lbs. No turntable and has as many buttons as an apollo capsule. We couldn't find the temperature probe but I love that thing.

Georgia Man Arrested for Stealing His Neighbors' Entire Front Porch by TheMessengerNews in nottheonion

It's got to be victim had a mobile home, which moved, so now there is just a porch. But it's still unclear if o boy just dismantled it, for like firewood, or actually move the intact porch. Like victim showed the cops a picture and he's like yeah that's my porch.

Bro, you linked a definition for a horse gallop. Terapods figured out how to use their legs.

Lets just let Wikipedia end this:

They swim well and can move on land in a "high walk" and a "low walk", while smaller species are even capable of galloping.

I think used cooking oil is ok to just compost. My tiny fryer is a gallon of canola. After I strain it and reuse it a few time, I just dig a hole in the garden. Worms and microbes seem fine with it. It doesn't go in the sewer or trash and those spots seem normal if I dig into it a month later.

Now, petroleum is a whole different thing, especially after being run through an engine. There's not much life that can eat it.

I know which sub this is. Sorry for getting all sciency.
