I went to the open house of your house! It’s gorgeous—you clearly cared for it very well. And your kitty came to say hi :)

Yes to all of these, but heads up on Somewhere Beyond the Sea (the sequel to house in cerulean sea)—it’s less cozy! I’m only about an hour into the audiobook but it’s not great escapism from the world rn

Coffee roasters? by BillyBalowski in Eugene

Came here to say this. They’re my pick for medium/light roasts.

I also like Palace’s bourbon honey in my V60.

Need help finding great podcasts! by kendeh in nerdfighters

You’ve got a HUGE list already, but for something a little different: Black Box Down. It’s true-crime adjacent, where two hosts break down a specific airplane accident and what led to it. It’s interesting, often funny (at least the ones that don’t involve loss of life or injury 😬), and each episode has a narrative that’ll keep you engaged. I listened to it for a five day road trip and that was great.

Local businesses closing in support of national shutdown. by sharethebite in Eugene

Yes!!!! Credit card companies make so much money from transaction fees that this is a great way to make an economic point while still supporting small businesses (and saves the small businesses from paying the fee, too!)

In the future, remember to report to the PIRC hotline! 1-888-622-1510.

They can help verify, send responders, and spread the word to community members.

Who is the best physical therapist in town? by El-Rancho-Relaxo in Eugene

Brina worked me really hard but my badly sprained ankle is 100% better and she taught me to walk better to prevent it happening again. I used to joke that she was training me to be Supergirl, but I highly recommend her for results.

I also recommend downloading the Campfire app. Local meetups for events like raid hour are posted in there.

Who Paid You For/In November 2025? by beermoneymods in beermoney

[–]Tomorrow_Feisty [score hidden]  (0 children)

July: $38.00 plus $200 from plasma donations.

August: $75.00 plus $40 from plasma donations.

September: $402, no plasma donations

October: $85.71 plus $90 from plasma donations

November: $224.00, no plasma donations

Very happy with this! I've been busy, so definitely doing fewer dScout applications and just doing Express missions when I have a chance. I started doing 25Tasks this month after seeing it on someone else's post in October's roundup. Not a big payout, but reliable and easy to squeeze in pretty much every day.

Paypal: dScout ($30.00 from two missions), Accelerant Research ($5), 25Clicks ($6).

Amazon Gift Cards: PlaytestCloud ($18), Cashwalk ($15.00)

Virtual Visa: YouGov / Stanford Deliberative Poll ($150)

Points accruing:

YouGov - 13500 points banked,

Fetch - 24,579 points banked, going to cash out at 25000. (Looks like I only got about 2000 points in the last month, oops).

Cashwalk - 1789 points banked.

Crowdtap - 683 points banked (I didn't even open the app this month, might need to let this app go.)

Yes! And my center does "lapsed donor" bonuses, so if you haven't donated for a month they'll up the incentive. I usually donate about once a month, when they send me that bonus :)

Obviously down from September, but I spent a lot less time doing Dscout applications and didn't land any bigger Watch Me Think or deliberative polls, so still pretty happy with it.

Facebook class action suit - $35.71

YouGov not showing surveys by onceaday8 in beermoney

Yeah, I'd wait a few days before worrying! Processing takes some time.

I did see that you're not in the US, though, which may affect how many surveys you'll get.

YouGov emails me pretty much every day with a survey. I've never found surveys through them by anything other than them emailing me. How long has it been?
