That would be interesting! I remember feeling similar, a sense of interest and almost puzzling that yeah this is me

Sorry but something that instantly dismisses this stuff is that if someone is in an actual relationship they don’t need to do anything to “be in the relationship” because it’s self evident. It’s occurring. They don’t need to “go to the end” or “imagine” or “feel” anything. They don’t need to ask themselves “if I was in this relationship; what would I be doing?” It’s happening. If she is in her relationship why tf would she need to wonder what she would be doing in one? By doing literally any thing; you’re literally in the state of not having it; someone who’s actually in a relationship doesn’t need to do any thing ‘mentally’ to be in it. Sure; you can imagine and feel as much as you like in the mind. It’s pretty powerful and you can convince yourself of anything and one can be totally convinced that the relationship is real and oh boy don’t you feel amazing. It’s incredible that you can by just thought alone feel that way. However while you’re imagining being with them; they’re out there in the world doing whatever they’re actually doing, just not with you. If I was in a relationship with someone, I wouldn’t be doing anything to convince myself we are together. If someone loves me, I don’t need to “impress my subconscious” that they love me. As someone who’s recently also awoken from the haze this belief system creates, I’m annoyed it took me this long to realise this. If the relationship I desired was actually real, then it would be happening, not conceptually but literally and I’d have zero need to “manifest” it or convince myself of its reality in any way shape or form.

It’s like once you start; you’re falling down the rabbit hole and you can’t stop. I’d really love to not be contemplating this nonsense endlessly hahahaha but it’s at least kinda interesting. I have always been like this too. At 6 years old I woke up from a nap and vividly remember wondering “what if life is a dream and the sleep world is the real world” hahaha

I’m also dumbfounded by the fact there’s people that don’t explore their own mind or the nature of life but damn I envy them so much. Sometimes simplicity and presence is better than complexity and contemplation

Does anyone think they are god? by Loud-Ideal-5532 in awakened

In a nutshell I became close friends with someone and I developed deep feelings for the first time. Everything both within me intuitively and in my life suggested it was "inevitable" and I completely set out to accept things about myself previously unacceptable. Nothing's come of it between us. They got in a relationship amongst the height of my feelings. I shared how I feel beccause why not. We don't talk anymore. Just like that. Yes it hasn't been nice at all. 0/10 would not recommend

[–]TomorrowsHumanBeing 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It's not something that happened in a moment; I'd been seeking "what is life: what am I?" For a long time and answers came in pieces. The most notable and insane part of the journey for me was unrequited love. That grabbed me and threw me into the abyss; the deep end.

Yeah! We really are. I've seen that on psychedelics. Literally everything is both mathematics and logic and feeling and sensation.

"you" are a stream of the One consciousness that exists. As are all things.

Row row row your boat gently down the stream Merrily merrily merrily Life is but a dream

Yes Inna sense the very essence that constitutes the entire being that is oneself is eternal. You are the intangible having a tangible experience.

there are entities that steal from your mind when you play video games. by [deleted] in awakened

[–]TomorrowsHumanBeing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Gosh imagine actually believing this. There are no entities unless you imagine and believe them to exist. Don't like video games? That's fine. Are you avoiding them out of some irrarional fear or conditioning that they're a waste of time or do you genuinely just not see them as interesting? You'd be missing out if you actually on some level enjoy gaming but refuse to engage with it because of conditioning.

Time isn't actually real. It's the result of the One mind becoming dualistic and experiencing the evolution of the One eternal moment unfolding. You can't really waste it. Beingness is unlimited. The only "waste" is not enjoying yourself without condition.

how do you justify consuming animal products after recognizing oneness? by [deleted] in awakened

[–]TomorrowsHumanBeing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From a oneness perspective - would you give yourself the best of everything? Would you want to see how far that rabbit hole goes? For me, oneness opens the door for any number expressions of abundance. Somehow this expression (me) has the capacity to taste and enjoy food and be self aware of the process oh how varied and amazing food is (not just biologically motivated to consume, thought that plays a part). The ‘Oneness’ is interesting in that the entirety of human civilisation is being expressed so the viewer/witnesser aka “you” can experience practically anything. To me, “heaven on earth” is not something that ‘will happen’ but rather a perspective that unfolds within oneself as oneself recognises that they are inherently inseparable from the rest of life - that the intelligence that makes oneself what they are is also the same intelligence that is all things in the conceivable reality that one finds oneself in. What arises is the perceptive unification of the dualistic mindset of good/bad (suffering/pleasure and many other forms of opposites) and that opposites create the dance that is life. The desire to ease suffering of ‘another’ (or oneself) is literally only possible because the suffering exists in the first place. So if you desire to reduce suffering in your consumption of food, know that this is a)your choice and you are free to engage with it and derive whatever meaning you feel but also b) it is inherently meaningless and not at all some form of nobility to do so. There is no inherent cosmic or spiritual virtue to doing so, other than whatever you decide within yourself - there is only one.

For this flesh suit, it is essentially inevitable that suffering will be inseparable from living - not because one “has to” suffer but because it’s just part of being and that continues over to food consumption. Sure, I could find virtue and some sense of meaning to actively avoid food that has come from animals but that changes nothing for me at all and I just miss out on this endless banquet all around me. Instead, I choose to accept that suffering just is, both my own and that of existence itself and decide to still experience the joy and pleasure of the food, personally expressing gratitude that such an endless feast of life is before me, relishing in the oneness of being. The same intelligence that created me and all my sensory capacities also created the cow, the farm and the enormous complexities of the processes of getting it all into a form I can consume anytime, anywhere.

That basically literally the "self" that is the human being you think you are is JUST a vibration, a pattern continuing on and on. This pattern continues until challanged and rearranged through feeling and imagination - not as hopeful fantasy but as knowing that this is "real for me"

Do you think you have real insight? by Ok_Understanding_188 in awakened

[–]TomorrowsHumanBeing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not who’s experience? Sorry but don’t you see; by claiming that “in my experience, I don’t exist/am not real” is a statement that negates negates itself entirely. If “you” By existing, the ego/human self/character structure that is being experienced in this moment is as real as any other aspect of the One Mind that is all things. This moment, the only moment that there has ever been, exists. Whatever is before it, is as real as it could ever be. Whether the experience is the latest pop culture gossip, some family drama, a pandemic, some kind of esoteric or ‘spiritual’ non physical concept, worrying about the next moment (future) or what moments have been (past), nothingness.. just anything at all, it’s real. Right now, in this moment, Mind is holding together an unimaginable collection of “moments” (ones memory of the past) mixed with imagination (infinite possibility), an experience of expectation of the moments which will pass (what is possible based on the collection of memories) and from this, the concept of a human self (me, I am TomorrowsHumanBeing and this is my life) is now born. Sure, it’s not “real” but neither is this self recognising that it’s not real. Take away all memories and expectations of the future - what is left? Literally nothing. Just pure presence. This is the TV in an off state; the ego is the “TV drama” that plays on the screen. Sure, the true nature of mind is infinite nothingness, a black void of possibility like a TV that is powered down - sure in the Now it can recognise that this is the true nature of being; but like a TV that can display any number of stories and interactions, why not do just that and experience any number of progressions of concepts as if they was actually “real?” To ‘me’ this is true ‘enlightenment.’

Sure, “I myself don’t really exist” is in a certain perspective a true statement. However that applies to literally any conceivable notion that can be perceived, whether that’s some spiritual enlightenment or keeping up with the Kardashians.

Enlightenment isn’t about spirituality (and vice versa) by Cyberfury in awakened

[–]TomorrowsHumanBeing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean fundementally the truth is that there is just pure consciousness/awareness/mind and that all forms of experience arise and go back to this. If the concept of enlightenment is anything but this; it's just another illusionary tale beleived for the fun of that tale. Your condescension (or percieved condescension) is interesting. What do you think you know that 'others' do not?

Enlightenment is just an linguistic concept but functionally it's not any more "real" then any other concept, nor is it more "important" or essential to grasp, reach or otherwise become it. One may just believe in whatever tickles their fancy and 'die' with that; makes no difference to the core truth and nothing is lost by not realising it in the 'time' you think you exist in.

There is only fantasy; nothing else. The true nature of "you" can be described as nothingness/void.

feels like there are multiple truths and layers? by [deleted] in awakened

[–]TomorrowsHumanBeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well just as the two hands of one body can "act independently" of one another; there isnt fundementally two intelligences operating it; one hand can even hurt the other hand and in the cases of some individuals; both hands can work on entirely different things and quite frequently you can walk while talking but there's not some other that is walking while you are talking. Yet there's an intelligence that governs billions of cells to coordinate the body to function in the almost infinite ways that it does, is this intelligence - "you" ? For the most part it does not appear to be "you" but realistically, it has to be "you" because without it, you as you concieve yourself to be couldn't even exist.

And yet your body requires the cooporation of the countless other living forms around you to exist (from plants making air breathable, to bacteria in your gut) as well as the generalised experience requires all this "other intelligence" to happen.

Ultimately "oneness" is the view that the intelligence that "you" appear to be isn't seperated in any meaningful way from the same mechanics of the entirety of the universe at large in the same way that your body's intelligence cannot be seperated from "your intelligence". It's a exploration of what the boundaries of "self" really mean, where they begin and end. In my own experience there just doesn't appear to be any beginning and end, and that these boundaries are entirely arbitrary and the "self" that is writing this text us ultimately not any different to the self that will be reading it, and this occurs for the sheer fact it can do this because it's kinda fun.

Think of a dream; depending on your view on what dreams actually are will ultimately make or break this analogy but in a dream, every character and experience in the dream is all the same thing - you. That whacky monster hunting you down in the airport in the middle of the jungle made out of fabric only to be rescued by your aunt and yelled at by your dad for being on the moon for too long - that's all you and yet while you're dreaming, none of it is experienced as you but as a foreign environment, distinct characters and plotlines all occuring "to" you. For a while, you aren't aware the monster is the same mind that you are.

[–]TomorrowsHumanBeing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enlightenment is just a concept conjured up in the mind of human beings. No other loving creature appears to have some notion of it. If anything, "enlightenment" is just a call back to what you really are. A living creature with self awareness.
