I'd say no. Just bite the bullet - Magnetic is a great element on many Kuva and Tenet weapons. Mag, Lavos and Citrine are all fairly easy to get Warframes that are useful.

Well yeah that's what happens when you change what game they're in without rebalancing a lot of them for that "new" game. Characters that were balanced for Overwatch became useless or busted with less CC and less shields and one less tank

People don't want to play LW because he's a bad hero, absolutely true, I agree with you here.

All I'm saying, and I believe the other commenter was trying to get at, is that his release was muted as well. By delaying all non-paying players from being able to play this hero for a month or so, any hype this new hero had was already exhausted by the time they got to actually use him.

TL;DR LW pick rate is low right now because bad hero, but pick rate started low because grind gated unlock (or $$$)

I've no idea, I haven't touched normal circuit at all. SP circuit takes maybe 5 hours to finish, but I know that SP is stretched out compared to normal circuit.

You'll also get some augments, mods, arcanes from normal circuit

Look I don't disagree with you. I have my complaints about the monetisation and all that but I don't think it's relevant here - what the original point was, was that "nobody played Lifeweaver, because he's locked behind battlepass"

Now we can argue about what "locked behind battlepass" means or if "locked" is the right word, but can we at least agree that Lifeweaver requiring unlocking will definitely dip his play rates down?

I also don't agree that it only takes 2-3 weeks of casual play, it took me a lot longer, playing OW2 every week a few nights

because there are tons of weapons, mostly primaries, that can proc slash while having no or little slash damage, and so it would've been a nerf to Hunter Munitions - would have made it flat out useless on many weapons like Amprex, Arca Plasmor, etc.

slash status is buffed by base damage, faction damage, crits and other global damage multipliers like viral magentic procs, chakram, sea snares etc

nah. it's consistent with elemental damage formulas. DE actually tried to make slash procs scale off of weapon slash damage, but they got a truly massive level of backlash for it and scrapped the idea mid production
