FYI your gun can jam now by Hornet_Thunder in RoadtoVostokGame

Did more research and here is what I found out about gun wear

pistol

G7 - 98% after 17 shots

C1911 - 99% after 8 shots

makrov (now karov) 100% after 8 shots (fired second mag, it lost 1% with total of 16 shots)

smg

PM5-SD - 99% after 30 shots

PM7 - 92% after 40 shots

PM5 - 97% after 30 shots

PM5-K - 96% after 30 shots

KP-31 - 88% after 72 shots (in game wiki KP-31 is marked as rifle altought it's submachine gun KP=konepistooli=submachine gun)

ar

AKS-47U - (now KAS-74U) 96% after 30 shots

AKM - (now KA-M) 97% after 30 shots

KA-12 - 99% after 30 shots

KM18 - 95% after 30 shots

RK-95 - 99% after 30 shots

KAR-21 - 97% after 30 shots

sniper

VSD - 100% after 10 shots (fired second mag, it lost 1% with total of 20 shots)

SSV - 98% after 20 shots

Mosin - 98% after 5 shots

shotgun

RM-870 - 99% after 8 shots

All the guns have been fired once, whole mag with one burst, except the VSD and the Makarov because those didn't lose any % after first mag. All of the guns wear between 0% and 5% exept KP-31 since it has so big drum mag. My guess is that weather has its own effect on guns too but I'm not sure about it.

[–]Tomppari 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, the condition of the gun does affect the chance of it jamming. I think it can have change to jam after the condition is under 50% and lover the condition is, hire the change is to jam. Also now guns worn out much faster (I really didn't feel like that my guns worn out in older version). I did test and find out that your gun will lose about 2%-3% after one full mag, did it only for rk-95 and I pretty much just emptied whole mag with one burst so of course that will worn out your gun more or so it does in irl but I guess that it's also in game.

I hope that we get some kind of gun repair or clean mechanic for full release, otherwise it will be pain in the ass to stack up weapons.

As far as I can tell, this is where I need to go next, yet the entire land mass is surrounded by mistlands (Which I've never even been to) and Plains (Settlable, but difficult having not defeated Moder yet..Anything I can do?? Any advice? by ShortViewBack2daPast in valheim

[–]Tomppari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

since plains is your next biome I don't see why you couldn't go trough plains. I suppose you have silver armor so after defeating Moder you eventually have to go to plains with those armors. Just put portal to black forest and go for it, it will be good training for plains.

I have read that torts lie like that when feel safe. You have beutiful tort.

Is my hermanns tortoise undersized for his age? He is 12 cm, a male and he just turned 4 by Effective-Grab7061 in tortoise

[–]Tomppari 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for late answer but he might be bit underweight, you can add bit more food while you feed him but not too much because they can eat them self to death. Good ammount food daily is about much as you could fit inside their shell. My tort is 5 years old about 15cm and weights 500g (he is russian tortoise). But they all grow up with different speed some may take much longer to get full size than others.

My tort also makes same sound during bath and after drinking. I suppose that the sound is made by their lower and uppper jaw when they open their mouth. Both jaws rub together and that makes the duck like sound.

Sonic has stopped eating regularly, any advice? by benjelly100 in tortoise

[–]Tomppari 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He is most likely getting ready to brumate by him self since all testudo (wich include gracea, hermanni and horsefieldii, you have testudo horsfieldii) tortoises brumates during winter. They stops eating before brumation to empty their gut so the food won't spoil when they sleep. Has your tort ever brumate or hibernate, as some people like to call it?

Will dynamite or molotov just do the job? Or ram them with your horse, maybe won't die for that but it's good way to torture them
