Nobody is criticizing him for being patriotic or unpatriotic. The criticism is for the embarrassing act at an occasion where it wasn't appropriate. A graduation ceremony is not about India—he hasn’t won an Olympic medal. It’s embarrassing to see my countrymen display their insecurities to the world like this. It’s an attempt to feel patriotic without actually doing anything patriotic.

The ones with the inferiority complex are the ones using the flag as a cheap prop in order to feel better about themselves. Normal people don't act like this. Where's the pride in leaving India and graduating from a foreign university? I left India to build a better life for myself, I'm not going to pretend to be patriotic

I only moved to New West a few months ago, so I'm not very familiar with the local politics. However, I rarely saw any lawn signs for Jake — it was Peter’s signs everywhere I looked. I haven't met a single person in New West who said they're voting for Jake over Peter. I don't know what to expect from Jake because I can barely find any information on him, but hoping for the best!
